Adding a -35px to the css seem to work but wont work in the main site code.

When I plainly add

p {
    margin: 0 -35px 28px;
}

It aligns all the text.

So I tried adding it to the class but it wont work

.hero-description  {
p {
  margin: 0 -35px 28px;
}
	}

I think my CSS syntax is wrong.
