Hi you can do editing css, this should work just add display: none to the following line of code. Not sure if it will remove also from other parts of your website, you need to test it 🙂

.sidebar-content-sidebar .archive-description, .sidebar-content-sidebar .author-box {
margin: 0 -40px 40px;
display: none; // add to remove the description
}

Hi, I've tried the plugin you suggested but still the sidebar shows on the right even if i've set up the layou as sidebar/content. There must be something wrong with the child theme
