Believe me, I am upset too! But I really don't know how we are going to accomplish that. All my competitors are gone for it too.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberDon't feel like the lone ranger. Just read this article:

Almost everyone in the real estate industry got hit across the board. I am sure Google switched their algorithm so that other "types" of sites also got removed. What about your competitors in your local market? Did they also disappear?

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberSure! Didn't know I was supposed to do that. Thanks! And thanks again to all the members of this forum who were nice enough to take time out of their busy days to help me. You guys are awesome!

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberYes, thanks for asking! My web host ended up reinstalling the site from an earlier version. They think it actually had something to do with a server glitch. Nice to know it wasn't a hack and that I also didn't mess it up from my end! 🙂

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberMy question for Anita is, do you really love all things chocolate and coffee?? 🙂 LOL

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberMine are pretty simple sites - have to be for this old brain to be able to pick it up. 🙂 I looked at some of your other designs and they are lovely (I like the zombie one!) There is quite a bit of money in designing real estate web sites (lots of new agents getting into the business all the time around the country) so you may want to think about creating a nifty new design for Realtors and figure out the best IDX to incorporate and start marketing it.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberI dominated the SERPS up until April 2012 for all the major terms in my market. I came up first for almost everything for eight years straight. I am a self taught geek/Realtor. Did my original sites all in Front Page (still have two in Front Page that I need to redo into WP, just no time to get it done.)
Still on the first page of Google at #4 for Las Vegas real estate" but it is a constant struggle to stay there. The competition from the big box sites (Trulia, Zillow, etc.) is tough. Had a guy that set up a "template" for my little WP community sites and learned to build those out as well. But now I have too much on my plate on top of managing my team of agents. Tried to use a guy out of South Carolina, but he disappeared on me without completing the project. And I paid him $11k up front. Probably never get that back. 🙁 That's why I want someone local that works exclusively for me.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberSummer, you are the BEST! I just recommended you on my Google+ page. Wish you were here in Vegas. I am going to be looking for someone full time to take over the SEO, social media marketing and blogging for my sites, but I need someone local that knows the real estate market. Any idea on how to find someone of quality that knows what they are doing? My main site is not in Word Press, it is on a real estate platform. And then I have another 25 sites or so in WP. I need someone willing to work on a small base salary plus bonuses for performance. (I want them to be invested in the sites' success!) But I definitely want to make it worth their while too.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberokay, now another question. I have this long password that was assigned to me by the system when I signed up for the forum. so I went up to mystudiopress thinking to fill in my account info and change the password, but it will not let me log in. it says my email address is invalid, though I can log into the forum just fine AND the system is sending the updates to this thread to my email properly. What gives with that? am I jinxed or something??? 🙂

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberThey ended up reinstalling the site from a backup - they think it had something to do with a server glitch from the logs. At least I know it wasn't a hack, which would be scary. And now I know how to change the password on the server for the future (my web host said I was doing it the right way but the server glitch prevented success in this case) and I have a link to a site scanner too. I am very appreciative of everything you all did to try and help me!!!

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberNo idea. I am a relative WP newbie. They are going to try restoring the whole site next. I totally appreciate you help Summer. Will let you know if that works.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberI have a backup buddy from November 30th. If I totally uninstall the site and put up the backup do you think that would work? I already copied the posts since then, so I would have to go back and put those up again, but I can do it.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberMy hosting company is saying that it looks like the users were deleted, but when they tried to do a reinstall of the user info from the 7th, it had the same issue. (I actually edited this site on the 8th so I know it was working then.) They are going to try from two previous installs, but if the one from the 7th didn't work, I have no idea why the earlier versions would. Help! Now I don't know what to do.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberI open up the cpanel for the site, click on phpMyAdmin and then click on databases. It shows three actually, but the first one is the schema for wordpress. The other two are Tuscany_1 and Tuscany_2. Under the first one I clicked on wp_users and under the second one I clicked on wp_tuscanyusers. They both give me the options to edit the username and password. Does that sound right?

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberHow would I tell if the wp-config was compromised? I just finally took your suggestion and emailed my hosting company to see if they could help me. I am pretty sure I was in exactly the right place. The screens looked the same as the one in the sample at http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-reset-a-wordpress-password-from-phpmyadmin/ There were two databases for this site, so I edited both of them to be on the safe side.

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberThanks for all the suggestions, everyone. I do appreciate the help. I went in and edited the phpMyAdmin databases, retyped in the email addresses and generated the passwords using the link from the page Eamon sent me. I still can't get into the site and it still does not recognize the email addresses I have used. Any other ideas?? I guess as a last resort I could totally reinstall it from a backup? That should contain the correct user info, yes? I always hate to do that, though.
Diann Tonnesen
Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberI was able to access phpMyAdmin and locate the databases. There are two for this site, and both have the correct email addresses attached to them under "users". So why can I not reset the passwords in tuscanyvillagehomes.org/wp-admin using the password resets? Neither one of the email addresses is being recognized?

Homes for Sale in Las VegasVegasAgentMemberBy the way, Brad, thanks for trying to help me!! I sure do appreciate it.
