That did it, @carasmo! Thank you so much. What I had before was an awful culmination of code after Googling, speaking with ACF support, and posting to help groups.
VanessaMember@scottsdaleexpert it may not be the background size you need to change. I see you have a lot of padding applied to the .home-featured area:
.home-featured .wrap { position: relative; padding: 200px 0 0; }
and
.home-featured .widget:last-child { margin-bottom: 200px; }
Try reducing the 200px instead.
August 28, 2015 at 11:54 am in reply to: Swank Genesis Theme Won't Show Comment Section On Pages #163911VanessaMember@joshnjenny you can't get it to show on the site or in the post/page editor?
VanessaMember@braddalton If that were an option I would have done that. Post category links do not have specific CSS classes, say, the way menu items do.
VanessaMemberResolved thanks to some simple tips from fellow designers of the DesignHer community! 🙂
VanessaMemberYep, I understand.
VanessaMemberThanks for sharing @braddalton! But it's saying I have to pay to view that tutorial.
VanessaMemberHi @chrispoblete,
Do you mean that menu right above the books that has All Books on it? That's generated by creating a menu and designating it as your secondary menu.
February 12, 2015 at 6:55 am in reply to: [Crave] Menu items resizing on hover and drop-down pages not stacking #140581VanessaMemberI was able to get the child menu items to stack on top of one another, but the sizing issue on hover is still going on.
VanessaMemberThank you @oncecoupled!
VanessaMemberThanks @Marcy! I'm still a bit unsure of what to do, but thank you for the guidance. I'm going to look at the CSS again now.
Here is a link to the site: http://babesindisneylandblog.com.
VanessaMemberThanks for commenting, @Marcy!
Here is the .js file. I already added in .nav-tertiary .genesis-nav-menu which is how I got the top level to collapse, but the sub-menus still aren't.
jQuery(function( $ ){ $("header .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-tertiary .genesis-nav-menu").addClass("responsive-menu").before('<div class="responsive-menu-icon"></div>'); $(".responsive-menu-icon").click(function(){ $(this).next("header .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-tertiary .genesis-nav-menu").slideToggle(); }); $(window).resize(function(){ if(window.innerWidth > 767) { $("header .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu, .nav-tertiary .genesis-nav-menu, nav .sub-menu").removeAttr("style"); $(".responsive-menu > .menu-item").removeClass("menu-open"); } }); $(".responsive-menu > .menu-item").click(function(event){ if (event.target !== this) return; $(this).find(".sub-menu:first").slideToggle(function() { $(this).parent().toggleClass("menu-open"); }); }); });
VanessaMemberI still have no idea what I'm missing. Could someone please take a look at the CSS via Firebug or something and help me figure out what I need to do?
VanessaMemberThis is the LIfestyle Pro them by the way. I'm thinking it must be the CSS, but I just can't figure out what I'm missing to make this work.
VanessaMemberHi @Tenns!
Thank you so much for taking a look! The parent level menus are responsive, but the submenus in my third menu are not collapsing under their parent page for some reason (the first two menus are working fine though). So specifically, you can see here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzeNcqGXMxMJN3dkOU1jX2lsVXc/edit?usp=drivesdk, the pages "Boys" and "Girls" are listed under "Fun for Big Kids" but they are actually child pages of "Fun for Big Kids" so I need them to collapse under it like these pages under "Disney at Home":
Collapsed: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzeNcqGXMxMJQmtVME5rRElYLWs/edit?usp=drivesdk
Expanded: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzeNcqGXMxMJRGRKdUdBdUJMUWs/edit?usp=drivesdkI hope that makes sense!
VanessaMemberThank you, Carlo! I've suggested this to them and am now waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed!

December 4, 2014 at 2:38 pm in reply to: [Executive Pro] Portfolio sidebar not showing on single Portfolio pages #133627VanessaMemberFound that there was another plugin activated called WooSidebars that was actually setting the custom sidebar and it's settings were deleted by Content Aware. All is fixed!
