    Thanks so much for explaining this to me. For some reason, it's not working when I use my page template, but it does work when applied to the whole site. Could it be because I am using this page template as my home page?

    Here is what I put in the .php file to give the page a body class. Maybe I did something wrong there.

    //* Add custom body class to the head
    add_filter( 'body_class', 'parallax_add_body_class' );
    function parallax_add_body_class( $classes ) {

    $classes[] = 'parallax-home2';
    return $classes;

    }

    Thanks again.

    I also gave this page a body class of parallax-home 2

    I tried the following..

    .parallax-home2 .entry-content {
    max-width: 960px;
    }

    This isn't working either. Grrr

    I solved it.

    I created a custom page then gave that page a custom body class. Simple enough 🙂

    It actually worked for the landing page template and since there is a .parallax-home option, I'm guess I can change the margin for the home page here as well. There is no option for the default page template. I'm guessing I have to change the setting for that somewhere else. i have no idea where though. Any help would be appreciated.

    That's emasai, I will put the text in the widgets and edit my pics. How do I add smaller images int the media queries? Thanks so much!

    I tried changing all of the margin settings in that section (site containers), but nothing worked.

    Thanks for the reply

    I desperately need a fix for this. I used only pictures on my home page and put a lot of time and effort into it. I tried braderz31's suggestion, but it doesn't work. It still only shows a small portion of the image instead of shrinking the whole image.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
