wow @baga that worked!
i already had yoast installed so that was a super simple solution.
Thanks a mil
NaomitblogsterMember@baga I tried that code and it didn't have any impact for me. probably because the search page does not include a filter called "wp_title". at least it doesn't on my theme (cafe pro).
So this question is still unanswered and I would really appreciate some help.
Thank
NaomitblogsterMemberThanks for that @Susan.
Those snippets work for the search form. I already did that translation.
Now I need to translate the search results page. Specifically - the title of that page where it says "Search Results for:"
AKA this

NaomitblogsterMemberYes. I followed the theme setup guide but this theme is different than every other studiopress theme in that it allows you to insert a custom header image via the customizer, but this only appears above the fold .
As soon as the sticky menu is activated by scrolling, a text-based site title appears instead of the custom header image. This means no logo in the menu bar. It doesn't look very professional!
I customized the CSS so that my logo now appears as a background image, but it is not clickable the way a site logo should be.
I tried your article on the schema logo but it does not help in this case. The because the theme is not set to show the logo in the menu - just the site title.
I appreciate your help!November 21, 2014 at 4:19 am in reply to: Sticky menu appears always, not just after scroll down #132359tblogsterMembergood point. you can see it there now.

thanks for your help on this!November 20, 2014 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Sticky menu appears always, not just after scroll down #132310tblogsterMemberIt is in the right place, according to the tutorial. and the enqueue command is in the functions.php
so what do i do?November 19, 2014 at 12:59 am in reply to: Sticky menu appears always, not just after scroll down #132079tblogsterMemberThanks for your response, Lauren.
I followed the tutorial for the javascript file.
the file path is /public_html/wp-content/themes/metro-pro/js/sticky-menu.js
That seems to be correct.
The content of the js file were copied from the tutorial:jQuery(function( $ ){
$(window).scroll(function() {
var yPos = ( $(window).scrollTop() );
if(yPos > 200) { // show sticky menu after screen has scrolled down 200px from the top
$(".nav-secondary").fadeIn();
} else {
$(".nav-secondary").fadeOut();
}
});
});So what have I done wrong?
