    Hi flamenco,

    Thanks for taking a look at that for me.

    The image in a div that you refer to is my attempt at making the change.

    I opened up the header.php file and added in a PHP IF statement to echo out a different logo if it was not the home page. Here's my header.php file. This is a copy of the header.php in genesis

    <?php
    do_action( 'genesis_doctype' );

    do_action( 'genesis_title' );
    do_action( 'genesis_meta' );
    wp_head(); /** we need this for plugins **/
    ?>
    </head>
    <body <?php body_class(); ?>>
    <?php
    do_action( 'genesis_before' );
    ?>
    <div id="wrap">
    <?php
    do_action( 'genesis_before_header' );
    do_action( 'genesis_header' );
    If(is_home()){
     echo '<img src="images/logo.png" class="hlogo" />';
    }
    else
    {
     echo '<img src="images/logo-alt.png" class="hlogo" />';
    }

    do_action( 'genesis_after_header' );

    echo '<div id="inner">';
    genesis_structural_wrap( 'inner' );

    This problem has made me do A LOT of learning about Genesis but I'm still so confused...

    The original logo was a CSS background to the "#header #title" div

    I'm sure there is a more elegant solution out there but this is "working?" so I'll go with this for the time being.

    Thanks again

    Steve

    Thanks again Sridhar.

    I'm also experimenting with home.php as the real solution but more research needed

    the temp solution from Sridhar:

    .home .hentry {
    display: none;
    }

    does not really work as there is still the black content wrapper on screen.

    Anyone know what the real solution to this is?

    My site test URL is:

    http://1064727136.1055256391.temp.prositehosting.co.uk

    The site will have a menu top left and a background image.

    Other pages will have sliders and photos.

    Thanks

    Here's what I have so far.

    In my functions.php file I have:

    function single_associate_template() {
    return the_content();
    }

    In my single.php file I have:

    if( is_single() && in_category ( 'associate' ) ) {
    remove_action( 'genesis_after_sidebar_widget_area', 'sidebar_two' );
    remove_action( 'genesis_after_content', 'genesis_get_sidebar' );
    remove_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' );
    add_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'single_associate_template' );
    }

    genesis();

    My test URL for this is:

    http://1063991394.1055256391.temp.prositehosting.co.uk/associate-1-test/

    How can I manipulate the content and other custom fields and mix them in with standard HTML?

    OK, So I was watching Studiopress.TV and found the answer. Well at least one that works for me...

    In addition to the coded IF staement I use the (Not Single) code like this

    if($pagename==”" && !is_single()) - Note the && means "AND" and the ! means "NOT"

    Cheers

    Thanks for the tip SoZo. Helpful.

    However, I think I'm looking for how to re-write or output the menu items into a Select List.

    Hi,

    Looks like you'd put the iframe code from youtube in the "genesis_before_content" Simple Hook area.

    Alternatively add a widget?

    Good luck

    I'd so love an alternative to Directory Press. I have a client on DP and want to migrate them to genesis.
