    I realize this post is from a while ago, but I'm having the same issue. I don't want the excerpt -- that doesn't have formatting and stops after a certain number of characters with a (more) or something like that. I want all of the text before the more tag that's in my post, formatted correct (say if there's a list, I need it to be a list). Or rather, I want the_content() and not the_excerpt().

    Is that possible?

    Thank you. I do know how to register a new widget. But I wasn't sure how to hook it into this section using this theme. I don't suppose you know how to do that? Or how to find out how to do that?

    I have the same question. However, I do not see the "header" box in my Genesis --> Theme Settings. I've tried switching Child Themes and I still don't see it. So I'm wondering what I"m missing....

    Thank you! While that wasn't quite what i needed, because it was only for posts, it set me in the right train of thought. It's funny...I would have thought that more code isn't necessary, because when you use the demo, there are pictures there.

    Regardless, I really appreciate your help!
