Go to Theme settings -> Content archives -> uncheck ¨featured image¨.

@webpsych Yes, I could do that, but my client wants the subscribe form the same as in the essence pro demo. Mailchimp shows the form a bit different.

No, that´s the strange thing.

When I put a new featured image there, then that picture shows up as featured image. When I delete the picture, the bunny is there again. That while I have no featured image.

I don´t have an answers to your problem unfortunately, but maybe you can help me. How do you make your newsletter subscription the way it is? Both on the top and bottom of the page?
