Hey that's great, it actually didn't work, still appearing below the Link Within, I replaced the original custom signature code with the new. It's really not a huge deal, just wondering if I could get it to work.
senordeerMemberI did that and it actually seems to work okay at least in preview, the comments link is there, so who knows, I published a test post privately and the comments link did show up, so I am going to go ahead and mark as resolved, thank you so very much for your help, it is much appreciated.
senordeerMemberThanks anitac, got that, and I do have comments enabled now on the post, the comment area still does not seem to be appearing. It looks like in a new post draft that was created, when you preview it at least, that the Leave a Comment link is there, could it possibly be that some link or something in the post itself would cause this problem?
senordeerMemberThank you for the response. I actually don't see the Discussion area in the post editor? I know about the general Discussion settings on the dashboard, do you mean a setting in the actual post editor? I see the publish box, categories, tags, featured image etc. but no area to enable or disable posts.
senordeerMemberAh, got it, I actually figured it out, thank you so much!
senordeerMemberDuh! Thank you so much! I just saw it!
senordeerMemberPrefect! Thank you!
senordeerMemberHey Brad thanks so much for the code, it worked great, only thing, I don't think I was clear in my initial post about what I want to do, sorry for that. On this page (which has a lot going on, I know): http://www.inspiredbycharm.com/ ,the most recent post appears in full, and then below it, the rest of the posts with the featured image and post excerpt. So what I was hoping to do is exclude the most recent post from having the Content Archives settings I have set up in Genesis settings (post excerpt and featured image) applied I probably did not explain myself well, and I also found a $6 recent posts plugin that I can probably just pop in below the first post, so it's not a huge deal, just was curious if it can be done. Thanks again.
senordeerMemberSmh. How embarrassing. Yes, and yes, of course that fixed it! Thanks so much!

I think I see what part of the problem may be, now when you try to access the submenu when coming from a static page, eg. http://thedecorista.com/services, it is accessible, it looks like the padding increases around the little subindicator icon. But only on static pages.
September 1, 2013 at 8:17 am in reply to: superfish menu dropdown not working with recent posts slider #60042senordeerMemberOh wow, that is great, thank you, I updated it. But you are correct, it still did not fix the dropdown menu problem, and oddly enough, it was working fine on my development site:
But I can't seem to replicate the dropdown performance on the new site?

senordeerMemberCool thanks anitac! I actually just reinstalled genesis and it took care of it, appreciate the help!
senordeerMemberOh, interesting! I will say that I was having this problem before updating to 3.6, I haven't really messed with the functions.php or any other files other than the CSS, so I actually replaced my old CSS with the sample child original today and am still having the issue, so I don't think it's in my CSS, will stay posted to see if it's some sort of known issue. Thanks so much for the response.
senordeerMemberHi Dorian, yep, you are correct I was trying some things with the functions.php and got locked out, I did reupload the functions file and site is showing again, http://www.richdetails.com. And yep I am using the default child theme, only edits that I have made have been to the style.css and the child functions.php. Thanks for your willingness to take a look!
