As far as the PHP...I don't know, I usually just install a wordpress site through Dreamhost. It has worked for years until now. 2 New sites gave me the same problem as soon as I installed the Genesis Framework theme.

This section is not in the customizer it is simply the dark black background for the titles. see http://www.teamsinaction.com

I want to replace that dark background with an image and don't where it is in the theme editor section to replace it.Any ideas?

Ok. I was able to get rid of the remove the reply title, but I still get a comment field that a person can comment in.
HOw do I get rid of that all together?

I am attempting top solve this same problem i.e. change the footer, and using the Genesis Simple Edits plugin option but somehow I am missing the "how and where" to actually enter the text
to replace the current credits (i.e. The 411 PRO TEAM-GENESIS FRAMEWORK, etc) that are there.
Please explain thoroughly as
I am not that savvy yet with genesis.

I was able to successfully eliminate the header (see: http://www.workathomecrashcourse.com)
but NOT the navigation area at the top which was also my desire.
I want to have my image be at the very top of the site
with all my navigation features below in the body
It there way to eliminate this top area as well?
