    Thanks, I might have to go back to the static header and just have the banner scroll as I'm not really sure what I'm meant to be doing with that custom function snippet.

    I've managed to get it working with the short code I placed into the gensis_header.

    However, for some reason it is showing after the image logo. Is there a way to specify to have the short code come first?

    Ha ha thanks, it makes sense as anything else in the past in terms of how things look has been done with the stylesheet. It serves me right for using w3 html stuff haha

    Thanks for the swift response.

    I used to edit in FTP but I thought it was frowned upon/not best practice to do that for some reason. Not sure where I got that impression from.

    So essentially by deleting the /**/ it should then start to work?
