then after reinstalling re copy it will I gain my info back?
rawfoodsgirlMemberThis reply has been marked as private.rawfoodsgirlMemberI never had a broken theme before hope this doesn't happen again.
If I do this steps will I lose any changes I made to .css file or any other changes i have made in the theme or post or pages?
is there a particular file i should be sure to backup first?
rawfoodsgirlMemberI tried to reinstall by just electing theme upload
i got this msg
Installing Theme from uploaded file: lifestyle-pro.zip
Unpacking the package…Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home/content/20/9860120/html/NewSite/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/
Theme install failed.
rawfoodsgirlMembercan you give me link to video for beginners
I can edit thru Notepadd++ just don't know the name of section to look for
rawfoodsgirlMemberI changed the max-width: 1140 px;
to 2140 px and no change at all - should i be changing something different?
rawfoodsgirlMembersorry to sound dumb but where is the site container?
is this in the css file editor?
September 12, 2014 at 5:13 pm in reply to: lifestyle pro search box on top right above header #124175rawfoodsgirlMemberI just installed genesis so would be new install - can you direct to how to add code snippets to do this?
rawfoodsgirlMemberthank you i did an export and import of post and pages seemed to work fine thanks
rawfoodsgirlMembersorry as a newbie it will probably take me days to learn how to use firebug but i will try.
your answers seem to be for the more advanced person.
thanks
rawfoodsgirlMemberI will try this is there any easy way to find line # to edit - solved i loaded notepad ++
except lines are off from yours looks like it is double spaced
but i was able to do a find.
thanks you
do you have a fix for the drop down menu to be same size?
rawfoodsgirlMemberthat helped inside of the big square everything is in - how about outside of the gray line above it at the top anyway to remove that padding?
there is still space above menu , Nutrition - above the gray outline line.
the code above helped too - thanks but would like to minimize more
and would like to lessen the height of header (blue header)
rawfoodsgirlMemberis there an easier way without messing with coding?
I like this page on her website and is what I am trying to do:
http://www.homemademommy.net/the-basics
I want to create a page then my blog posts would be listed by category so someone could click the title and go to that post.
rawfoodsgirlMemberThis tells me how to change colors - but says nothing about the font size in menu.
Firebug seems to just help you find where you need to adjust code (I think).
I want to make the Font in the MENU stand out be bigger not change color.
rawfoodsgirlMemberwhere would i find the code in mail chimp?
rawfoodsgirlMemberI copy and pasted the text you have above under the "media queries" section but nothing changed. so I took it out until I figure out if I did something wrong.
Also i do not have the choice of smaller than 150x150 for pic on post - so the featured posts is really long
appreciate any help on improving it.
rawfoodsgirlMemberthanks i see many ways to change the font background, etc but not the font size in the menu
also would like to change the font size in the header
"a passion for health"
would like to change this font size.

rawfoodsgirlMemberHow do I do styling? the widget doesn't let me do any styling
I did change to thumbnails looks better but needs a border or Featured Posts needs to be Bold or something
thanks
