Same question here - Has Genesis been abandoned? Is it time to move on to a new provider of themes?
Support for legacy themes is important!!!!

Next...
I deactivated all the plugins and nothing happened (still there.)
I switched to another theme and nothing happened.
I even used one of the generic WP themes and nothing happened.What's my next move? The site is hosted at GoDaddy.
radiomogulParticipantwhen i'm editing a post (or page)- I see three tabs...
upload - stock images - media library
on my other sites i see only upload and library
radiomogulParticipantWhen I look into the wp-content file (because I want to backup the photos in case something goes wrong, I see about 50 different temp files that are type text/x-generic. Can these be removed?
radiomogulParticipantthis was setup as a subdomain, because I'm already paying for a hosting plan for my main website. But I had two servers. This way it's all in one place.
But since it was small without a ton of data, I used the WP Import tool to simply export a copy from the old server to the new site.
Then we can rename it from new.xyz.com to simply xyz.com
-my questions is - will all the relative URLs
change, even the uploaded photos?May 25, 2021 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Deprecated: add_option was called with an argument that is deprecated #504125radiomogulParticipantI don't have 72 plguins. Probably about 18 or 20, of which half are inactive.
May 25, 2021 at 8:33 pm in reply to: Deprecated: add_option was called with an argument that is deprecated #504124radiomogulParticipantAh, the culprit was the Feedburner plugin. Time to move to a new feedburner.
radiomogulParticipantI'm getting a better sense of how this works. Most of the block programming seems to be in the area of using a post or a page.
I liked working the text widgets, especially as they had the capacity to add images and some formatting. They were good for quick content that could be updated weekly or every few days without having to create a full post.
Is there any good primers on how to configure something similar with blocks or atomic blocks?
radiomogulParticipantI'm ok with blocks. progress is good.
However, I use a lot of text widgets and custom HTML on my homepage.
As I begin to figure out how to use these blocks, I'm seeing post and page grids.
Where can I get up to speed quickly on how to integrate other elements - such as texts and custom HTML?radiomogulParticipantYes, that's kind of what I thought, I could ask them to migrate, or create a new install, and then export the data, and rebuild the widgets?
radiomogulParticipantOK, I also notice that the public folder has the following files on it:
brooksgoldmannpublishing.htm
index.htm
index.php
index.phtmlradiomogulParticipantYes, I get the regular login screen, but after attempting to log in, that's when the problems occur.
Feel free to try logging in as brooksadmin (with no password) and watch what happens.
I did get out of the hosting company (I don't know if I can mention their name) that they recently made some security update that limits users to three attempts. However I told them this occurred on the first try.
radiomogulParticipantI have the same issue. SO I grabbed the plugin, but got this error when I uploaded the plugin....
iOS Images Fixer Error: The function exif_read_data() is currently disabled in your PHP configuration. This is a required function for the plugin to work. Please enable this function or contact your hosting provider to do so for you.
How to fix it? Is it worth fixing?
June 4, 2018 at 5:02 pm in reply to: How To Make the Title Font Smaller in Author Pro Featured Posts #220540radiomogulParticipantI stand corrected. I just didn't make them small enough.
It does work!Thanks for your help.
June 4, 2018 at 10:02 am in reply to: How To Make the Title Font Smaller in Author Pro Featured Posts #220523radiomogulParticipantI changed it to this:
.widget-full .featured-content .entry-title {
font-size: 28px;
font-size: 2.8rem;
text-transform: uppercase;
}Then i updated the file..... and NOTHING
Still looks too large. Just to make sure I wasn't looking at a cached site in my browser, I opened a new tab in another browser, and even though the settings are changed, the text is still way too large.
radiomogulParticipantIMHO The tabs should ALWAYS look like the first image regardless of how wide the browser is.
To me, image two is wrong. Why should the text overlay the image, when there is no need, rendering the image hard to see?thanks for the info on the favicon. i will check it out.
