Are you using any SEO plugins (WordPress SEO by Yoast, All in One SEO Pack, etc)? If not, have you checked Genesis SEO settings?
Pixel FrauMemberThe social media icons can be changed in the Simple Social Icons widget settings.
To change the post title link color, you'll need to edit the CSS. Change #2a815 to the hexcode for the color you want to use.
.entry-title a:hover { color: #2a8a15; }
Pixel FrauMemberThe easiest thing to do would be to create a landing page for opt-in. The landing page will be visible to search engines. The free content (or information on how to access the free content) can be distributed via autoresponder through the mailing list. If the content is hosted on the site it can remain hidden from search engines as the landing page is indexed.
Pixel FrauMemberHi Herman,
Have you assigned the menu to the primary menu location? You can check that by going to Appearance > Menus. Uncheck the primary menu box and save the menu to remove it from the above the header.
Pixel FrauMemberDo you mean a category archive page or some sort of widgetized landing page?
Pixel FrauMemberSpot on, Luis. That should do it.
Are you already using the Primary Navigation Menu? It is already located in that position, so it might be easier to use that instead.
Pixel FrauMemberThe pointing arrows are generated by this bit of the stylesheet:
.pricing-table ul li::before { content: "\f139"; display: inline-block; font: normal 20px/1 'dashicons'; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: -2px; vertical-align: top; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; }
You can remove the content line to get rid of the pointing arrow. Then add this to get back the standard disc bullets:
.pricing-table ul li { list-style-type: disc; list-style-position: inside; }
Pixel FrauMemberYou can also add a specific class to the menu item you want to change, and then target that class in the CSS. That way you don't have to worry about the editing the menu and changing the item ID.
Pixel FrauMemberiThemes Exchange + invoicing add-on might work. Another option would be to use something like GravityForms to get the initial order/request and invoice using software like FreeAgent or FreshBooks.
Pixel FrauMemberIt looks like your image is quite a bit smaller than the image size recommended in the theme instructions. Do you see the same behaviour when using the correct image size?
The Parallax Pro theme demo uses images with dimensions of 1600px by 1050px for this area. The images used in these areas must be a minimum of 1140px wide.
Pixel FrauMemberYou would change the padding here, around line 707 in your stylesheet.
.genesis-nav-menu a { border: none; color: #000; display: block; padding: 28px 24px; padding: 2.8rem 2.4rem; position: relative; }
Pixel FrauMemberYou'd need to add something like
background-size: contain;
to your media queries. That's just one of several ways to do it.Pixel FrauMemberThere's a . missing before footer-widgets-2 on line 2485 in the stylesheet:
.footer-widgets-1, footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3 { width: 100%; text-align: center; }
April 27, 2015 at 12:31 am in reply to: Parallax Pro – How to add Background images with same effect as default images #149257Pixel FrauMemberParallax Pro doesn't have any type of image overlay. Look in the images folder for the theme and you'll see the images themselves are dark. You can create a similar effect with Photoshop or other image editing software.
Pixel FrauMemberWhat theme are you using? Link to site?
Pixel FrauMemberHi Georgette. Yes, that's exactly why. Rather than using an iframe, you could use the Black Studio TinyMCE plugin, which allows you to create text widgets in the same way as normal pages and posts. Then you can just copy and paste the YouTube video URL and it will be automatically embedded in the widget in the same way it would be in a page or post.
Pixel FrauMemberThere's some conflicting CSS around one 1798 in your stylesheet. See how footer-widgets-1 and footer-widgets-2 have a max-width of 25%, but footer-widgets-3 has a width of 25%? You need to either add a max-width to the media query or change the original max-width to just width like in footer-widgets-3.
.footer-widgets-1 { max-width: 25%; height: 300px; margin-right: 25px; margin-right: 2.5rem; } .footer-widgets-2 { max-width: 25%; height: 300px; margin-right: 25px; margin-right: 2.5rem; } .footer-widgets-3 { width: 25%; height: 300px; background: #768fcb; text-align: center; }
April 26, 2015 at 4:48 am in reply to: Making a nav menu item stay a specific visited color after being clicked on #149179Pixel FrauMemberPixel FrauMemberIt's not the framework itself that's mobile friendly, but the recent child themes. You'll want to look into adding media queries to your theme's CSS to make your existing theme responsive.
Pixel FrauMemberThe image is there as it should be. But the CSS isn't correct, which is why it's not showing up.
Did you add this CSS to your stylesheet? If so, where? I'm not seeing it when inspecting the CSS on the site.
If you're using a caching plugin, or if your web host has caching enabled, you'll want to flush/clear the cache so that it loads your CSS changes.
