Please post a link to your site so we can find the relevant CSS for you.

March 25, 2013 at 4:23 am in reply to: How to Put Social Media Icons In/Next to Header (Prose) #31072Pixel FrauMemberThe default Prose theme has a Header Right widget area that appears to the right of the title area. You can move your social media widget to that widget area.
Pixel FrauMemberYou're right, ongoing support is not guaranteed, which is exactly why I don't often recommend plugins. Nick, however, is a regular contributer to StudioPress. You could always take a look at the plugin and come up with something of your own.
Pixel FrauMemberCheck out Nick's plugin: http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header
Pixel FrauMemberIt depends on how much you need to customise it. This is a good starting point: http://www.w3schools.com/css/
Pixel FrauMemberAdd this to your stylesheet:
#sidebar a {
text-decoration: none;
color: #4487a3;
}#sidebar a:hover {
text-decoration: underline;
}Pixel FrauMemberYou'd need to get your signup form code from MailChimp. Add the form to that widget on your homepage. Then customise the form with CSS.
Pixel FrauMemberLook for the section titled Responsive Design on your stylesheet and comment out the properties in that section. A CSS comment begins with /* and ends with */ .
So if you're original CSS property is:
body {
width: 100%
}you would change it to:
/* body {
width: 100%
} */Pixel FrauMemberIf you want to move it up further, you need to reduce the padding.
Replace the previous code with:
#featured-post-4 .byline.post-info {
margin: 5px 0 0 0;
padding: 0 0 10px 0;
}
Reduce the 10px of the padding until it's as high up as you want.Pixel FrauMemberThe notice box style is defined in the style sheet by p.notice. So you can just add the notice class to any paragraph you want to turn into a notice box.
For example:
<p class="notice">This is a notice box.</p>Pixel FrauMemberThe widths are defined on your style sheet (style.css).
.content-sidebar #content, .sidebar-content #content {
width: 550px;
}.sidebar {
display: inline;
float: right;
font-size: 13px;
line-height: 20px;
width: 305px;
}
Decrease the width of #content and increase the width of .sidebar.Pixel FrauMemberIt's from the padding and margin set for the post-info. You can add this to your CSS:
#featured-post-4 .byline.post-info {
margin: 5px 0 0 0;
}
This will change the margins just on that widget without affecting the rest of your site.Pixel FrauMemberLooks like you've figured it out. Images are showing at 1140x760.
Pixel FrauMemberHere's a custom function if you don't want to go the plugin route.
March 22, 2013 at 4:14 am in reply to: What e Commerce plug in shall I use on the Genesis framework? #30398Pixel FrauMemberI've used WooCommerce for several Genesis sites. It might be a bit more robust than what you're looking for though. Looking forward to hearing about other's ecommerce recommendations.
Pixel FrauMemberDo you have a link to your site? And what size do you want the image to be?
