Thanks very much Victor. I couldn't find the code in any of my functions.php files but thanks to your tip that it related to hooks I went to the website dashboard, Genesis, Simple Hooks and found it in one of the settings (genesis_before_header). Although fixed now, the problem does provide some motivation to install a newer theme.

.footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3 { width: 100%; } .post-829 { margin: 10px; border: 3px solid #000; } }
However that had no effect. I refreshed the browser, tried another browser with no luck. I tried deleting -829 so it exactly matched your suggestion but that didn't work either. There is clearly something fundamental that I am not understanding.

I am lost because of the design of author pro as it (to me) seems to be not a simple problem due to the front page widget design of the theme.

BTW, I am learning french so I was able to understand some of your website, but not enough. I hope to be much better by this time next year.

I meant that I would like to add a border to a post that does not have a border and I gave an example of a borderless post in my first post above.
OzpressParticipantThanks very much Rick. No wonder I couldn't find how to fix it. I was looking in the wrong place. All good now. 🙂
OzpressParticipantThanks for the reply Tom. I have now fixed it! I added the line:
text-align: right;
to the title and description areas and reduced the px size of the title to 62px.Thanks so much for your help. 🙂
