ParticipantNo. You know when you scroll down the transparent header goes away and the one with the white background appears? I just want the white one to be visible the whole time. https://showcase.designbybloom.co/
Thank you!

ParticipantMarcy - Thanks for your help! I followed your instructions but on a non-retina monitor the logo is not displaying properly:
Do I need to changed the css so that it displays the logo within the container?

ParticipantDoes anyone know of a tutorial for this? Brad do you have instructions for this on your site?

ParticipantThanks Brad. I am using Balance 1.0 - I didn't realize that it used xhtml loop hooks - should I switch to a theme that uses html 5 for the hooks?

ParticipantSusan -
I used your solution on my site but It's not working quite right. The header image is responsive but the space around it does not scale. If you look at the site I'm working on and resize the browser you'll see the blank space below the logo before the menu:
http://officethug.com/eggs/Do you know how to fix this?
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks Brad.
FYI, if anyone is looking to create a custom homepage with slider this tutorial worked really well for me:

ParticipantIf you look at this category page you will see that the images have been properly resized:
http://officethug.com/eggs/category/eggs-on-toast/But the actual post is displaying the high-res image scaled down:
http://officethug.com/eggs/image-test/I just want the post to use the same image as the category page.

ParticipantI am using the Genesis Responsive slider. I understand how to configure the settings, but how do I add it to my homepage? Some of the other genesis themes have a widetized homepage but not the Sample theme.
Thanks in advance!

ParticipantThanks Davinder, I am so close now!
The resized image is now displaying properly on the Category page! But the post is still displaying the high res image at the top. Any suggestions?

ParticipantThanks Davinder. When I upload a new featured image it does not re-size the file automatically. It displays the original (high-res) image scaled down to fit the layout. I want to automatically resize the image so that the page isn't loading a large high-res image.
Thanks for your help!
