I think I described the behavior incorrectly.

ON DESKTOP:
Both Front Page 2 and Front Page 3 appear fine.

ON MOBILE:
Front Page 2 gallery images stay small, and you can slide through them.
Front Page 3 gallery images appear as big images in single column, making a pretty tall and unseemly Front Page 3 area.

I would like Front Page 3 gallery to behave like Front Page 2 gallery on mobile.

You are right - the error has nothing to do with the child theme - in the problematic site, I changed theme to Metro Pro, and still got the error.

Finding it hard to diagnose the issue - both sites have almost identical list of installed plugins and both are on the same server.

I tried turning wp_debug on, and above the embedded links, I got the error:
Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method Genesis_Tabs::init() should not be called statically in /public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 298

Genesis Tabs - which is an integral part of the News Pro child theme look and feel, is installed only on the site that currently has the issue.

I understand that the error is coming from the embed-content template in Theme Compat. Question is: How come the site using News Pro has to fallback on Theme Compat at all when the one using Metro Pro doesn't?

Child themes are ONLY stylesheets.

In Appearance > Edit
you can edit the css file.

There, change the color of the text to a dark color. e.g. for black, you can say
color: #000000;

CAPS:

In the same css file, find the styling of the post title, and add this to the styling
text-transform: uppercase;

P.S. In the above post, why did arcfestesmintak.hu site URL's anchor text become the post title, while for the hennalap.com site, the URL became the anchor text?

Post categories/taxonomies. Does it matter which?

Let's say I have categories numbered 1 through 10: cat1, cat2...cat9, cat10.

I have a page "Categories 1-6 Page" on which I want the posts from categories cat1, cat2, cat3, cat4, cat5 and cat6 listed.
