Hi everyone, I figured it out.
I had added a bit of "defer Javascript" code to my .php file and it messed everything up. I deleted it and everything is fine now. thx!
nancimurdockMemberHello, I just checked the website and it is actually several of my widgets that are missing the section to actually edit or add the content (not just image widget).
Custom HTML, and TEXT widgets windows to edit or add content have also disappeared.
FYI, I had another problem this morning with Revolution Slider 5 not being able to edit layers or save changes. I sent a support ticket to Themepunch. I am wondering if I have a plugin conflict or javascript error that is affecting the website.
Not sure how to diagnose this.
Thanks, Nanci

nancimurdockMemberThanks Jonathan! The client is using Yoast, so that must be it.
I don't love the new Yoast update, but I will give it a chance.
Appreciate the reply,
Nanci
nancimurdockMemberin VISUAL editor you have to hit return twice. Which seems weird, I have never had to do that before in any other theme.
But it works!
So one return for single space (like poetry - LOL!) and two spaces for paragraph breaks.
Good luck!
nancimurdockMemberOk, thanks Brad!
nancimurdockMemberNot really.
I would prefer to set the images on the page, without involving the 'featured image'. It concerns me that without a featured image or an image on the page, the theme is pulling in random images from the library. This feels like a bug.
nancimurdockMemberit's

if you want to take a look.
thx/Brad
nancimurdockMemberIt replaces the image on the page with thumbnail of the featured image.
nancimurdockMemberOMG Brad! It changes to another image.. I think the next one in the media library.
now I am super confused.
January 11, 2014 at 7:39 am in reply to: Outreach Pro Sub-Footer Widget installed on Agency Pro #84594nancimurdockMemberHi Brad,
I posted EXACTLY what you sent and nothing happens on any of the pages EXCEPT the blog page, where this appears:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare outreach_sub_footer() (previously declared in /home2/nanci/public_html/socialmediabonk.com/wp-content/themes/agency-pro/functions.php:119) in /home2/nanci/public_html/socialmediabonk.com/wp-content/themes/agency-pro/functions.php on line 117
I am new to this but am surprised that an error like this (which I do not pretend to understand) would appear on no other page or post than my blog template, which is: http://socialmediabonk.com/inside-scoop/
I apologize for my lack of knowledge - I appreciate your time.
January 10, 2014 at 7:52 am in reply to: Outreach Pro Sub-Footer Widget installed on Agency Pro #84368nancimurdockMemberBrad, I missed this in my email - thank you so much.
I will let you know if/when it works!
nancimurdockMemberThank you! Because I am using the Orange version of the theme, I had to locate the site-header code in that section - changing in the main CSS would only work if I was using the default version of the theme.
I did find it in Outreach Pro - Orange (it was bundled with several other items, which I assume are also now #ffffff), however I did not notice anything obvious that I would still like to be orange. If I do, I assume I can just remove site-header from the list of items and add a new section:
.site-header {
background-color: #ffffff;
}in the Orange instructions.
Thank you!
nancimurdockMemberTurns out something in the Genesis Simple Hooks (vs. Genesis Simple Edits) was overriding the footer text. The good folks at StudioPress helped me figure this out. Seems to be working now.
Is a goal of mine to figure more of this out for 2014. 🙂
Thanks again for your input.
nancimurdockMemberThanks David! Yes, it's always fun working with Carolyn and her team. This will be my third redesign of her website http://ckcagency.com and happy that she supports my efforts with professional photography and strong graphic design.
You know it's weird, because I had Genesis Sample installed as a Child Theme before Agency Pro and also had no text in the footer - so I am wondering if it is something in the Parent.. I only recently starting using this URL for testing and development so can't say when it started or if it has always been that way.
I will keep at it. Thanks!

nancimurdockMemberThank you, thank you, thank you! That worked perfectly!
Hope Santa is good to you!
