Here is code to fix the defect in Parallax where menus viewed in Explorer (the browser of choice for 60 percent of desktop users) jump/fly in from the right when you visit pages other than the homepage. This defect is viewable as of today (April 21, 2005) at the demo site at http://demo.studiopress.com/parallax/ as well as several showcase themes based on Parallax at http://frozenpeaks.com/, http://roofersuniondc.com/, http://ebizelephant.com/, http://www.mycocoshea.com/, http://www.surroundslandscaping.com, etc. This defect does not effect one-page websites where the menu links to widget homepage subsections. The theme Altitude contains the same defect as of today.
You can remove the following CSS:
a,
input:focus,
input[type="button"],
input[type="reset"],
input[type="submit"],
textarea:focus,
.button {
-webkit-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-moz-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-ms-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-o-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
}Alternatively, you can add the following after the CSS rule above.
.genesis-nav-menu a {
-webkit-transition: none;
-moz-transition: none;
-ms-transition: none;
-o-transition: none;
transition: none;
}Good luck all!
mjerbiMemberThis is disappointing. Not a single response to my Forum question. I also note via http://demo.studiopress.com/parallax/ that this jumping problem may be a defect in the theme itself versus something I did. Many of the Showcase themes based on Parallax have jumping menus as well but not all. Anybody out there know how this is solved?
