@Victor - Thank you for the snippets, but it still doesn´t change anything. The snippet is now still inserted in my functions.php - so you could see the result on wp.mpg-umstadt.de.

Any idea, why it doesn´t work?

yes I got a respond. You have to create a new site and you have to switch to index template.

Fixed it for my own. I used the plugin "Async JS & CSS" and that broke the icon.
