I did a negative margin and it tightened it a bit, but not quite as much as I'd hope. Any more advice?
mcnaterMemberThanks for this Julie, but unfortunately it's not working for me. I tried setting the margins and padding to 0 and did a hard refresh, to no avail. I'm not sure where else it could need changing. Any other thoughts?
mcnaterMemberThis is what is in that section:
/* Title Area
--------------------------------------------- */.title-area {
float: left;
padding: 0;
width: 300px;
}.site-title {
font-family: 'Oswald', sans-serif;
font-size: 48px;
line-height: 1;
margin: 0 0 0;
text-transform: uppercase;
}.site-title a,
.site-title a:hover {
background-color: #f96e5b;
color: #fff;
display: inline-block;
padding: 16px;
text-decoration: none;
}.site-description {
display: block;
height: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
text-indent: -9999px;
}mcnaterMemberP.S. Here's what it looks like when I try and put a 300x120 sized logo into the image:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BySf0XxcDgnrakpCRFZTZi1TajA/edit?usp=drivesdk
It cuts it off.
mcnaterMemberAgain, thanks for the help. Yes, my functions file is set to 300 x 120 like the article mentions.
Here is what my widget shows too:
/* Widget Area
--------------------------------------------- */.site-header .widget-area {
float: right;
width: 664px;
}I'll play around with that size now to see what happens.
mcnaterMemberThank you so much! Reducing that margin-bottom indeed did shrink the gap. I appreciate your help very much.
One other thing if you don't mind, I changed the logo from 270 x 80 to 300 x 120 but for some reason it's still cropping it when I try and upload a logo of the new size. If I leave the header logo on the left as "TEXT", the words KYAN CLASSIC appear fine in a 300 x 120 box, but any logo still is shrunk to 270 x 80. I followed the steps in that previous guide, but I'm wondering if there is something else there?
I can't thank you enough for your help.
mcnaterMemberWhen I do 'Hide Image' and just have text it looks fine and the "logo" box is bigger. But as soon as I choose an image, it seems cropped. Just not sure.
mcnaterMemberThanks for the response, but I still can't quite get it to stick.
I first followed the instructions I found on this link, so I'm not sure if that is messing it up somehow.
I just don't get why it's not moving. I know its not a caching issue as I have that stuff turned off.
I must be missing something else.
mcnaterMemberI'm in the same boat as Gabriel, I'd love to be able to extend the header. Thanks in advance!
mcnaterMemberHow can I get numeric pagination if I do this? All I see right now is "newer comments" and "previous comments".
mcnaterMemberRight, but I bought it through here and I need a login in to get support there. How do I go about doing that if I didn't buy it directly through her site?

August 21, 2014 at 9:13 am in reply to: Modern Blogger Pro: Color Scheme & Social Media Buttons #120215mcnaterMemberThat hasn't been updated in over 2 years though. Is that really still the recommended one?
August 20, 2014 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Modern Blogger Pro: Color Scheme & Social Media Buttons #120065mcnaterMemberOk..got that working, but what about the Slider? Which one do I use for that?
August 20, 2014 at 10:49 am in reply to: Modern Blogger Pro: Color Scheme & Social Media Buttons #120027mcnaterMemberI am trying to get my Modern BLogger Pro site ready and I don't see the option for those social media buttons? Do I need to install the Simple Social Icons myself?
