i duplicated the home.php, renamed it to author.php - after deleting author.php it works 😉
Sorry - but the gravatar still is not showing up!

Great Idea, ut i think its impossible to do with the genesis structure, because it is no ordinary WP Theme 🙁

I want a separate author page, where everyone can write some about hisself e.g. Some short bio, links to twitter, instagram, pinterest aso. Maybe add some pics....
And very important for the G+ authentification...

thank you for the answer - and yes in a way it helped.

I know how how to link to the authors page - BUT THERE IS NO AUTHORS PAGE?
So there is no link showing up in the "new" post info - i think because there is no such site.
How do i create such site?

Ok - i made it to put the authors link into the post info line.
The author link now links to the authors archive.
Still the question: How to link the authors profil to a static page???

Just uncheck "include featured image" under genesis setting 🙂
