Hi Joel,
I’ve been digging the past couple days and have only got a little bit of info.Yes, they’re working on a FSE theme, but I don’t see anything like a timeline anywhere.
WP Engine/Studiopress just bought Frost, which is a FSE theme developed by Brian Gardner (and others). He founded Studiopress.
From what I’ve read, Frost will heavily influence, if not become the Genesis FSE theme. The Genesis Slack group (genesiswp.slack.com) seems to be more helpful than this forum nowadays, which I hate, but there it is. There’s a #full-site-editing channel there.

madthoParticipantHi folks, just catching up on the drama here. I purchased the all themes package ages ago and really only ever used the the Sample theme. I’m a simple man.
I build sites in Genesis, but maintain some others with other themes and builders - I really wish I only had to deal with Genesis.I have to say as much as I appreciated the community pre-WPengine, I feel like they are doing TONS more work on Genesis now than before. The transition to Gutenberg has yielded painfully simple, powerful site-making.
At the moment, there is not enough value in Genesis Pro for me, but at $360/yr, it wont take too much of a feature set to get me there.
@And_or It took me (also a solo operator) a little while to find the time to transition my sites from Atomic to Genesis blocks (about a dozen sites). Turns out I took care of it all in about 20 minutes. There’s nothing to worry about.

madthoParticipantWe used Ubermenu on bikenewportri.org.
It seems to be sturdy and breaks well on different devices. It certainly does the job, but it's pretty complex (maybe overly so). Definitely a learning curve. I did have to use a combination of styles within the plugin and in the theme style sheet to make it look right for us.
I played with Max Mega Menu also and decided on Uber, but I can't remember exactly why.I'd like to learn to do a mega menu without a plugin that just relies on the native WordPress menu. I don't love telling the client that there is an additional thing to learn.
