Unfortunately that didn't work.
I'm working locally so I can't show you what it looks like.July 28, 2015 at 5:40 pm in reply to: Bullet points different colour #160804
Thanks for that, I will give that a try 🙂June 3, 2015 at 4:51 pm in reply to: Excluding a category from the Category search widget #154769
Hi yes, the category drop down list. But I have the code now so all good 🙂
Thanks.June 3, 2015 at 12:42 am in reply to: Daily Dish Pro – site footer #154677
It sure does. Thanks!June 3, 2015 at 12:35 am in reply to: Daily Dish Pro – site footer #154674
Thanks for that. I can add the code into the functions.php but I was just curious how the site footer even shows up if the code is nowhere to be found 🙂 I even did a search for "copyright" in the functions.php but it was nowhere and there's no simple edits plugin installed. Mysterious.June 3, 2015 at 12:17 am in reply to: Daily Dish Pro – site footer #154671
Yes that's it but I can't find it! The code to alter the text below - it has to be in there somewhere. So strange.

Thanks. Will have to get someone with more css experience to have a look at it.July 10, 2014 at 1:40 am in reply to: Can't Find Error in Function.php File and Site is Down #113709
It probably won't show up in the Editor, though I can't give you a reason why - it is probably best to access the code via FTP.July 10, 2014 at 1:30 am in reply to: Can't Find Error in Function.php File and Site is Down #113705
It's probably best to access the code for the new widget via FTP and then open something like Notepad++ to access the code.
You'll be able to find the extra } on line 283.
Delete it and then upload back via FTP.
Good luck! I remember it happening to me too and I freaked out but it should be easy to find via FTP.July 7, 2014 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Enterprise Theme – Comments #113291
It's the WP-Cycle plugin.
I've tried to get the client to upgrade to a later theme to bypass these problems but they don't want to.July 3, 2014 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Featured Posts on a Page #112918
Thank you both. Kellylise, thanks for the link however I don't want them on the home page, I want them on the blog page.July 3, 2014 at 3:35 am in reply to: Swank Logo #112814
Have you checked the Genesis Header option to display the image logo instead of dynamic text ?
(Appearance > Genesis > Theme Settings > Header)June 24, 2014 at 9:37 pm in reply to: Responsive header in Swank #111383
Thanks anitac, that's a little beyond my coding means (for now)!
I've added a custom header and I'm very good at following instructions and I understand that it's different for each site but I can't seem to find anything specific to help me but it could be I'm looking in the wrong place.June 16, 2014 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Parallax Pro reduced experience on Windows Chrome #110061
Here's their response: "I asked a couple other members of the support team to check the scrolling in Chrome and they don't notice a big difference. By chance, are you using a mousewheel? If so, browsers do handle those differently. There is nothing in the theme that changes the behavior of mousewheels or other hardware."
I'd prefer not to add an extension but they seemed to think it was the fault of the browser more than anything else.
It enhanced the scrolling but technically I'm not that savvy so couldn't explain it any further than that!June 16, 2014 at 6:08 am in reply to: Parallax Pro reduced experience on Windows Chrome #109962
In terms of the scrolling effect on Chrome which is not quite up to scratch (in my opinion) as it is on Firefox, I contacted Copyblogger and they suggested adding an extension.
Worked for me. Hope it helps.
As for the font, I don't really like it anyway so went for Open Sans 🙂May 19, 2014 at 1:33 am in reply to: Transparent background on Parallax theme #105828
I found a solution elsewhere.April 24, 2014 at 6:01 am in reply to: Simple Social Icons in Executive Pro Nav Bar #102125
Hmmm, seems I'm using the secondary nav menu (it's been a looong day!). Would that mean I'd simply change the word Primary in the functions.php code to Secondary.
