MemberUnfortunately that didn't work.
I'm working locally so I can't show you what it looks like.
LisaMB
MemberThanks for that, I will give that a try ๐
LisaMB
MemberHi yes, the category drop down list. But I have the code now so all good ๐
Thanks.
LisaMB
MemberIt sure does. Thanks!
LisaMB
MemberThanks for that. I can add the code into the functions.php but I was just curious how the site footer even shows up if the code is nowhere to be found ๐ I even did a search for "copyright" in the functions.php but it was nowhere and there's no simple edits plugin installed. Mysterious.
LisaMB
MemberYes that's it but I can't find it! The code to alter the text below - it has to be in there somewhere. So strange.

MemberThank you Dom! Worked a treat.
LisaMB

LisaMB
MemberThank you, I did find the correct code and changed it.
LisaMB
MemberThanks. Will have to get someone with more css experience to have a look at it.

MemberIt probably won't show up in the Editor, though I can't give you a reason why - it is probably best to access the code via FTP.

MemberIt's probably best to access the code for the new widget via FTP and then open something like Notepad++ to access the code.
You'll be able to find the extra } on line 283.
Delete it and then upload back via FTP.
Good luck! I remember it happening to me too and I freaked out but it should be easy to find via FTP.

MemberIt's the WP-Cycle plugin.
I've tried to get the client to upgrade to a later theme to bypass these problems but they don't want to.
LisaMB
MemberThank you both. Kellylise, thanks for the link however I don't want them on the home page, I want them on the blog page.

MemberHi Jared,
Have you checked the Genesis Header option to display the image logo instead of dynamic text ?
(Appearance > Genesis > Theme Settings > Header)
LisaMB
MemberThanks anitac, that's a little beyond my coding means (for now)!
I've added a custom header and I'm very good at following instructions and I understand that it's different for each site but I can't seem to find anything specific to help me but it could be I'm looking in the wrong place.

MemberHey Tom,
Here's their response: "I asked a couple other members of the support team to check the scrolling in Chrome and they don't notice a big difference. By chance, are you using a mousewheel? If so, browsers do handle those differently. There is nothing in the theme that changes the behavior of mousewheels or other hardware."
I'd prefer not to add an extension but they seemed to think it was the fault of the browser more than anything else.
It enhanced the scrolling but technically I'm not that savvy so couldn't explain it any further than that!
LisaMB
MemberIn terms of the scrolling effect on Chrome which is not quite up to scratch (in my opinion) as it is on Firefox, I contacted Copyblogger and they suggested adding an extension.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chromium-wheel-smooth-scr/khpcanbeojalbkpgpmjpdkjnkfcgfkhb
Worked for me. Hope it helps.
As for the font, I don't really like it anyway so went for Open Sans ๐
LisaMB
MemberI found a solution elsewhere.
LisaMB
MemberHmmm, seems I'm using the secondary nav menu (it's been a looong day!). Would that mean I'd simply change the word Primary in the functions.php code to Secondary.
