I'm currently using GoDaddy for hosting. Is SiteGround faster?

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the feedback. The Homepage is actually the original design I created using HTML 5, CSS 3 and PHP includes. The Genesis Framework / WordPress version of the blog is similar and located at the /blog.

I have decided to stick with the original design version of the blog. It seems as thought the website speed using WordPress is slower in speed to load. The code seems bloated. I know plug-ins can be installed to overcome this issue. I personally decided "for now" not to waist any more time designing.

Anyway, the Site Map link was added to the main menu in hopes people would select it to view all the posts available for reading on the blog. I'm not sure if it will remain on the menu or not just yet. It's sort of a test.

Thanks again for having a look and providing feedback. Linda

    David,

Thank You for your feedback and advice. I have moved the back to top button over 30px.

As for the social icons, they are added to the menu using span class=icon- and are currently being styled using the default style for .genesis-nav-menu a . I added another class for the textual links .page to change the padding for each menu item.

This poses a problem with trying to align the social icons to the center. I did try adding a second class to the icons with no luck. I'll keep working on this suggestion and see if something will work.

Thanks again for having a look. Linda

I have sent a "How Do I ?" request to Copyblogger Support and received a response that works. This has been resolved.
