Well, no explanation, but today they re-appeared. All I did was go home for the evening, and today, zap-- the widgets editing column is back. The ghosts in the machine must still be sleeping.
killahfunkadelicMemberI might add all of the widgets (in three different sidebars using Genesis Simple Sidebars) are all functioning properly on the site itself; I just can no longer edit or access them in the widgets dashboard. weird.
killahfunkadelicMemberkillahfunkadelicMemberding ding! it was the settings > reading one I missed. It also is only showing 5 posts now on the actual blog page, but i can live with that as long as it's not so many on the home page feed. thanks!
killahfunkadelicMemberI'm trying to limit the posts on the home page of Jane also-- but maybe 4-5 or so, not the 10 it seems to be showing by default.. Any ideas?
killahfunkadelicMemberfound a workable solution in a previous post:
http://www.studiopress.community/topic/how-to-add-a-logo-to-outreach-theme-header-left/#post-7853
killahfunkadelicMemberI'm having the same issue. I've currently got the logo in the header image-- but this is not satisfactory as when the screen is reduced to mobile device size, the logo is so tiny it becomes too miniscule to be legible. need a solution for the logo to be independent of the background so it stays large(ish) at smaller sizes.
killahfunkadelicMemberthanks Dave from Germany, this is useful information. I'm trying to avoid a multisite install if possible--so might have a go at the WPML plugin and see how I like it, if not, will go the multi-site route. Just trying simplest solution, client is low budget nonprofit. Appreciate the links!
