Kevin MuldoonMember
Yeah you must have been a subscriber of one of my old blogs. I founded bloggingtips.com in 2007 and sold it in 2010. In 2010 I founded wpmods.com and later sold it in 2012.
I now blog through my personal blog, however I still freelance for many other websites.

Kevin MuldoonMemberThat was actually a different website ๐
I ran BloggingTips.com from 2007 to 2010 and WPMods.com from 2010 to 2012. I write on my personal blog now, however I still freelance for many other blogs.

Kevin MuldoonMemberKevin MuldoonMemberThere is no external scripts being used. The only PHP being used is in the templates and in the plugins (which deactivated and changed nothing).
Other WordPress websites on my hosting account are displaying the date correctly, which rules out it being a server issue. I am using Genesis on another website and that displays the date too: Which is baffling!
UPDATE:
I found out what was wrong. You won't believe this!!! haha
Under the WordPress general settings area, the data field had incorrectly been set to custom. I reset it to date format and it is displaying correctly.
I have no idea how that changed as I have no changed any settings there in a long time.
Regardless, I appreciate your help on the matter.
I'll just go and stick my head in the sand now ๐

Kevin MuldoonMemberThanks for doing that test Brad. I just disabled all plugins and the meta information did not return.
My first thought yesterday was that there was something missing from the functions.php template; however yesterday I replaced the functions.php file with the default functions.php template and nothing changed. I looked through every piece of code and could not see anything related to meta information apart from this function:
// Add Viewport meta tag for mobile browsers add_action( 'genesis_meta', 'metro_viewport_meta_tag' ); function metro_viewport_meta_tag() { echo '<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"/>';

Kevin MuldoonMemberI installed simple edits again yesterday but it did not resolve the situation.

Kevin MuldoonMemberHi Brad,
I hadn't noticed it was in the source. I am referring to the post date etc. It seems to have been removed from all posts and comments.

Kevin MuldoonMemberDisregard. Jennifer from support helped me resolve the issue.

Kevin MuldoonMemberI changed it to 100% but the problem is still there. Not sure that's what is causing it.

Kevin MuldoonMemberI upgraded to the latest version of minimum. It fixed a lot of problems however there is still a problem with viewing the site. In the demo minimum shows the right sidebar underneath but on my site it's trying to show the sidebar and as a result, it's all been cut off. I'm using the default stylesheet so I'm not sure what is causing this.

Kevin MuldoonMember@Bill - Thanks. I've removed the margin. I'm not sure if it's worth my time looking at the differences just yet as Brian mentioned on Twitter that a lot of themes will be getting updates soon.
@And or - Was this an existing issue with the stylesheet. I've not changed anything with the widths etc.
I'd love to see StudioPress make the process of adding a logo simpler. I know it's not set up that way but the framework over complicates what should be a very simple task.

Kevin MuldoonMemberPerfect. It's looking great now in portrait mode.
Do you know how I can place the menu underneath the logo in landscape mode too?
Also, let me know if I can do anything for you in return. You've saved me a lot of time and energy by helping me with this ๐

Kevin MuldoonMemberThanks for that. It seems much better now. :):)
I addedย padding-top:45px; toย .menu-primary li,.menu-secondary li,#header ul.menu li in order to move the men down below the logo in portrait mode. It done the job but it adds a large margin at the top too for some reason. Any idea why?

Kevin MuldoonMemberThanks for your help guys. I hadn't noticed the mobile styling area at the bottom of the page.
I'm unsure as to how to offer different versions of the logo as the logo isn't linked in the stylesheet. It's set in the header area of WordPress. How would I go about resizing it for different resolutions.
Also, I noticed that the logo displays properly in landscape mode on the iPad. It's only when I view in portrait mode that things are getting messed up.

Kevin MuldoonMemberThanks for your help Marc. The file you sent me worked. I must have copied the wrong code somewhere.
Feel free to close the thread now:)
