KenSPMemberVictor - THANKS for the help.
Did find the code for the footers at the following lines in functions.php:
150 // Add support for 6-column footer widgets. 151 add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 6 );
Looking at style.css, line 2199, I found the following code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) { .five-sixths, .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3, .footer-widgets-4, .footer-widgets-5, .footer-widgets-6, .four-sixths, .home-middle-left, .home-middle-right, .one-fourth, .one-half, .one-sixth, .one-third, .three-fourths, .three-sixths, .two-fourths, .two-sixths, .two-thirds { margin: 0; width: 100%; }
Where the code uses '...sixth...' I assume I would use 'seventh'?
There is a section in style.css at line 1767 entitled
1767 /* Footer Widgets..
Not sure how this works.Help appreciated - Ken Cooper
KenSPMemberMy suggestions - which I have done are two fold.
First, go into your cPanel and create a subDomain then use the Duplicator plugin to copy the live site to the subDomain and work on your 'new site' in the subdomain. When done copy it back to your primary domain. This is a free plugin.
Second - use the Desktop Server plugin. This sets up a local environment to do your development. You use Duplicator to create a zip file to FTP to Desktop Server - do your development locally then reverse the process to upload the completed 'new site' to your primary domain.
Personally, I REALLY do like Desktop Server as I use it to develop new sites from the beginning, test sites, proof of concept sites, etc.. Granted all of this can be done with a subdomain but I like doing the development locally.
There are a bunch of articles on how to use Duplicator, Desktop Server, etc. As I said earlier I have used both and both work very well.
Good luck - Ken
KenSPMemberWanting to use an image. However, as the content may cover the image I may have to change the color.
The Custom Background Extended plugin you referenced may do what I want - will try it out in the next couple of days and post what happened.
Thanks - Ken

kenKenSPMemberYes - I am aware of this method of pwd protecting a page but this is NOT what I want.
I have about 125 people and I want each one to specify their own username/pwd for a Member Only page. When they first go to the MO page it will tell them to register for the page and to specify their own unique username/pwd to access the MO page.. It will have to also have an option to reset the password if they forget it. Then every time they go to the MO page they have to enter their username/password.
Needs to. be pretty much like when I go to a company and they want me to register to see their website and they give me a login/register page and an option to reset my password when I forget it.
THANKS for help - Ken
