"Studiopress has always provided they help needed for their customers with hand and hand tutorials" Wrong Rob G (or partly right) Studiopress used to provider tutorials in a forum so that others could contribute - and benefit - by way of video tutorials as well! As it is now the "Get Help" section in support is a one on one situation so no-one can get the benefit of picking up a tip and thus not having to get a support specialist to answer their specific question.

It would seem that generally it has been decided to ignore concerns and requests raised by members of this forum elsewhere about the type of service we are getting now. I am obviously wrong - it is not the customer who comes first because I certainly dont remember seeing anything in the old forums asking CLIENTS what would work best for them.

Dont get me wrong - I appreciate the help we get from volunteers on this forum - but that doesnt mean I have to like the "new" system imposed on clients.

One only has to look at this forum to see how many people would far prefer aspects of the old system to be brought back as a supplement. To solve the problem would be a question of bringing back more support Tutorials and videos (yeah I know about Studiopress TV)

Thanks Anitac - in other words remove the menu item Holidays Unique and just make that the WELCOME text?

    Thanks for your patience.

No the slider will have an image per country - at this stage 3 or 4 - all different URLS - except to the Welome/Introductory/Holidays Unique text

Sorry about the confusion. when the visitor clicks on the URL for the site I thought it would be good if besides the slider the generic Holidays Unique page could appear together with the slider as the landing page. THEN when an image is clicked on the slider the visitor should be taken to that county's url and info. Am I making this too cumbersome?

Perhaps this will clarify - I did not plane for any link from the slider to the Holidays Unique/Home page.

Just to clarify - i will have an image from the different countries in the slider - which when clicked on would go to the content for the particular country's

The Holidays Unique page is generic

    Hope that helps.

I was thinking of visitors landing on the slider page but having the CONTENT from the Holidays Unique/Home page showing below the slider. Or is that crazy?

I want the slider and the Holidays Unique to load on the same page when the visitor loads the site. Or am I missing the point of the slider concept?

I am still pretty new to this......

Anitac, any advice on what would be the best way would be welcomed with open arms:-)

Or would it be better SEO wise to just have the visitor click on the menu item Holidays Unique - which was in reality, my home page.

I am aware of that John.

I first had the slider widget in the Featured sidebar and that didnt work. Ive tried the HomeĀ  middle 2 and that doesnt do it.

I need the slider to be just below the menu with the Home page text below it.
