January 24, 2015 at 2:24 am in reply to: Parallax Pro : The Sidebar CSS Styles are not showing up in the mobile devices #138494jrrickerMember
I am having this same issue on my site jrjustdoes.com
For me, I styled the sidebar so that it is more narrow; however, there's just a giant gap on mobile devices (specifically the iPad and Apple products.)
Help would be appreciated!
Best,
JRjrrickerMemberHey all, I'm struggling with the design of the actual blog section of the website. Right now the design is ok, however I'd love to spice things up a bit and make the design look a little more unique. Any ideas on how I can change up the look of the blog post section? Here's the link to the blog section: http://www.jrjustdoes.com/blog
Thanks again and best of luck on all of your Genesis website projects!

jrrickerMemberThanks Nicklas, can you explain in a little more detail as to exactly what you're wanting to do on your homepage? Hopefully myself or someone on here can help.

jrrickerMemberI had changed the width to 1200px just to see how it would look. I forgot that I changed it until you mention it so thanks for the reminder!
jrrickerMemberGreat suggestion. Thanks Davinder.
November 19, 2014 at 9:57 pm in reply to: How to separate homepage sections into 3 separate sections? #132240jrrickerMemberThanks for the response, Dom. I did that, however, and it separated the text into 3 sections but I was looking to separate the 3 widgets within the home section up. So to give you an idea of the effect I was hoping to achieve: home section 5 separated into an "about me" with text, an image, and then a subscription box using the enews extended plugin.
Thanks again for the help!

Right now, I have all the odd home sections the same size (same padding) and all of the even sections the same padding.
jrrickerMemberSusanta,
What plugin did you use to get the subscription box at the bottom of your page? And did you have to do any editing to the css in order to get it looking that nice?
Thanks,
JRjrrickerMemberHey Casey,
Can you explain how you got that small "sign up . . ." bar immediately below your header picture? I'm looking to have the same effect of a site I'm building right now.
Thanks!
jrrickerMemberIs Travis mills site made using the parallax theme?
jrrickerMemberBeautiful site Can you explain how you narrowed each section on your home page? Each section on my site are all the same sizes and there is just too much blank space so I'm looking to narrow certain home sections.
Thanks!
jrrickerMemberHey Dan, how do you get the transparent background behind the text and I'm front of the background photo on your site?
Can you send the code that makes that possible?
Thanks,
