The intro section is the white space under the slider, prior to the blog content. It has four linked .png image files that supplement navigation (progress, featured articles, journal, support).
Thanks!
jronaldleeMemberThank you, Sridhar.
jronaldleeMemberI know you said you'd rather do it in the loop, but here's another plugin option (I found Simply Exclude did NOT work for me).
jronaldleeMemberThat worked... kind of. At the same time, the background floated up to the top of the page (under the white header), so I lost about 120 pixels worth of background.
Anyhow - I followed that up by altering the background image so it's taller, and it looks good. Thanks.
jronaldleeMemberThat was very helpful, jmrallen and psahalot. Thanks so much! It looks perfect!
jronaldleeMemberIf you look at the site right now, you'll see the logo, as I popped it into the header right section. That pushed the search box lower... which I don't want. For now, I've moved the search into the primary sidebar.
Ideally, it's Title / Logo / Search across the top.
Forgot to mention, this is an Education based site.
September 2, 2013 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Genesis Responsive Slider: position text next to image? #60308jronaldleeMemberThanks, Dan. I ended up solving it a different way... created images that were 650x328 pixels, then stretched the image an extra 300 pixels and left the new area white. I manually set them as the featured image for the pages included in the slider. More work than I wanted, but I got what I needed.
jronaldleeMemberStupid user errors. It was a setting.
