That'll do it. Thanks Mike!January 18, 2014 at 3:42 pm in reply to: Conditionally Remove Nav Menu on Pages #85779
Okay, so I'm a dork. (And being totally blind is actually a semi-valid excuse here).
Didn't notice I had accidentally put a parenthesis at the end of that line...though I hadn't in other attempts.
So, I cleaned up the code (with your suggestions), and I don't get a blank screen—but I also don't get the result I'm wanting.
Am I missing something? This should remove the primary navigation menu on the pages specified in the array, correct?
Thanks again!January 25, 2013 at 10:51 am in reply to: Add Filter to Allow Shortcodes in Category Description #14624
Thanks so much for the response...
I misspoke, however, as I've been trying to use the shortcode within the "archive intro text" area.
I may have to repost with an accurate title. I've been botching that since I started asking for help here...maybe that's been the problem all along. 🙂
Thanks for the suggestion - and the help getting me on track with the right terminology!January 20, 2013 at 12:44 am in reply to: Shortcodes within Category Intro. Text #13245
Thanks so much for the suggestion, Brad! Unfortunately, that didn't do the trick. Piggybacking off your idea...I tried replacing "widget_text" with "term_description", and that, too, didn't give me anything usable.
Any other ideas? Thanks again!December 13, 2012 at 9:42 am in reply to: Sidebar Pushed Beneath content on Post Page (Minimum) #4973
Actually - I have the issue resolved on the front page, but now the issue affects random pages across the site. Here are two examples where it still persists:
I see the issue on a few select pages, as well, but for the time being, I've just switched those to full width content. What on Earth is going on? Thanks in advance for the help! 🙂December 3, 2012 at 10:26 am in reply to: Primary Navigation Extras Help #3015
Brilliant! Makes absolute sense - and worked like a dream. Thanks so much for your help, as usual.December 1, 2012 at 11:41 am in reply to: Help Styling a "Follow Buttons" Section #2769
Okay - so we're getting a little closer with that thought...
I did some rearranging with the actual content of the section, too, so this looks a lot closer to where I want it - *BUT*, the icons now appear vertically.
Suggestions? So. Stinkin'. Close. 🙂 Thanks so much for the advice!
