Hi Grayflo, sorry i've missed this.
Styles doesn't do anything with the stylesheet, it loads the custom styles inline in the head of the document. I've sold a lot of these and everyone seems to love them. It's really easy to change fonts and colors of things, so you if you don't want to code anything they will save you lots of time.
Hope that helps!

JiveDigParticipantI'm not from Studiopress, but i'm doing the exact same thing, and I asked this question to Brian Gardner (outside of the forums) and got confirmation that it's okay.

JiveDigParticipantLooks like it's the #inner ID. To target only the home page, use .home first.
Like this:
(transparent black)
.home #inner {
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.8);
}(transparent white)
.home #inner {
background-color: rgba(250,250,250,0.8);
}The 0.8 in both of these is the amount of transparency. Adjust accordingly.
You'll probably have to play with the font color too, depending on what you go with.Is this what you're looking for?

I only have about 5 plugins installed, but I deactivated and reactivated all of them and now everything is working fine.
Strange...

JiveDigParticipantSwitching is not an option for this project... It requires Multisite and chained payments, which as far as I know is only possible with Marketpress at the moment. Honestly, I built the same functionality into WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads already, and it worked great... but I want multisite and automatic commissions on the new project, so I'm forced to go with Marketpress.

JiveDigParticipantEither of you have any updates to this? I'm wanting to use Marketpress for multisite but find it very difficult to template, compared to WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads, which i've used before.

JiveDigParticipantHow about Media Element? http://mediaelementjs.com/
(there's a WP plugin too)
I've had good success with that before too... and well supported.

JiveDigParticipantI use this one, with a different skin... it's been great.

Justin's support has been great too (helped me get the new skin working)

JiveDigParticipantHey Tony, great idea! That actually did work, sort of. It at least got Genesis Connect to activate and recognized WooCommerce, and it got the breadcrumbs to work... but it did something crazy to my single product layout. It moved the sidebar down to the below the content... very strange.
Any other suggestions? Or do we think this is just an incompatibility with Genesis Connect and WooCommerce 2.0 or 2.0 beta/RC1?

JiveDigParticipantSorry to jump in... this thread helped me get it working, but the default Genesis 1.9 removes the "subscribe" button when using eNews (I'm using it with Mailchimp as well). How can I get it to show in my custom child theme? I looked at the code associated by default and expected to see display: none; or something... All I see is this:
.enews input[type="submit"],
.search-form input[type="submit"] {
border: 0;
clip: rect(0, 0, 0, 0);
height: 1px;
margin: -1px;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 0;
position: absolute;
width: 1px;
}

JiveDigParticipantWow i just stumbled on this post. From the looks of the code on the live version, it seems #header and #footer-widgets is now full-width... very nice addition to easily add full width header & footer styling!
In a current build right now I had to move the header to genesis_before. Not the most efficient thing to do, but the style is necessary for this site.
I may wait until the new version is released to continue this build, since it seems like it could be any day now?
