Thanks, have had a look.
Looks Revolution Pro is the newest theme?

JoeMemberI tried that plugin it didn't seem to do what the OP asks.
I too would like to display the featured image above the post title, on the single post archive.
Any ideas how to achieve this?
Thanks.

September 12, 2014 at 4:29 am in reply to: Creating a Archive Page for a Custom Post Type with Custom Excerpt? #124085JoeMemberThanks for that.
Is there a way to display the HTML of the post excerpt on an archives page without having to enter the content again in the excerpts meta box?
I don't mind manually adding the <!--more--> tag if necessary.
Thanks.

JoeMemberThanks Brad, I've taken a look at your tutorial on creating a custom widget but adding the ability to display posts that are a custom post type is beyond me!
On the recent posts widget I can't see a way to select a custom post type - all I see is title and number of posts to show.
I'll have a look around and see if I can find anything else.
Thanks.

JoeMemberProblem is I want to display custom post types in the widget, and I don't think that can be done using the default widget.
Thanks

JoeMemberYes sorry, that link should've been to Magazine Pro:
http://my.studiopress.com/setup/magazine-theme/#step-10I guess it must be the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin which is making my posts display in one column:
Thanks.

JoeMemberThanks for the reply. I would be on display at all times - single posts and archive view.
Here is an image of where it would go, but it would be fixed in position and stay on screen as the user scrolls down.
I guess this might be: 'genesis_before_loop' from the http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/
But I'm not sure?
Thanks.
