MemberThanks for your help, Lauren...
are you sure? I've added it at the end of the home.php of the steamline child theme. also in the page_landing.php.
But both doesn't work... on my home landing page there are no featured posts shown..janosch
MemberThis plugin you mentioned sounds interesting - not excactly what I need, but nice. There is so much great stuff out there...
But unfortunately haven't found a solution how to get the featured pages on the static home and archive pages 🙁

Memberunfortunately it doesn't do the trick for me.
I copied your code in the functions.php of the streamline child theme (tried functions.php of genesis as well) and marked my favorite page as my new starting page. But there is no change. No featured pages on the static Homepage ... 🙁

MemberThank you anitac - I'll test it. Because of a thunderstorm my private internet doesn't work.
Hopefully, next week I can bring it live.April 29, 2014 at 12:24 am in reply to: Streamline: Featured Pages Thumbnails on static Homepage #102859janosch
Memberwow, that's a lot of code for someone who's not familiar with php 😉
Thank you, anitac. I'll check it on Thursday as in Germany is a bank holiday.
Just one Question: Are you sure, that code will show the featured page thumbnails on a static page / archive page?
If I'm right, it's adding the author box etc. but I'll give my best to adapt the function for using it for my case.Thanks again &
have a nice day

MemberHi lynnemiller,
I'm interested in the answer as well. Is there a chance to read it?
Thanks

MemberHere is my fix / workaround:
just put the CSS diretly to the streamline file
#header {
background: url("http://www.peerewju.de/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/cropped-header_peerewju_mallorca_1.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) !important;
}
.custom-header #title a, .custom-header #title a:hover, .custom-header #description {
color: #E96A2A;
}Not the perfect way, but it works.
But if someone knows, where to find the code, I would appreciate the help.janosch
Memberregarding that topic:
neither on the dashboard not on the Genesis-Theme-Settings I can find a button for updating the Framework.It's still "Version: 2.0.0-beta1"
Automatic Updates are enabled.Thanks for any help!

MemberHi Jeni, hi all,
finally I get it done by using the Newsletter-Plugin Wysija. In addition I installed the plugin Magic Boxes to create the formular like I want to have it.
Thanks a lot for your help!

MemberHi Jeni,
thanks for your help. The Plugin seems to be a nice one. Just installed it and then unfortunately noticed that it is not working for me. As I understand it right I need to register at feedburner to use it, right?
I like the wordpress-subscription-widget a lot - which connects followers with their wordpress-account. You know which one I mea? Is there a plugin available to customize the registration fields?
I hope it is understandable which kind of follower/subscription modul I mean.
Thanks for any help!
kind regards, Jan
