Thanks for your help! I was able to change the header size. However, after uploading my logo under new header dimensions, it showed up cropped on the website and there was no way I could fix it:(

Thanks for the info. Just to confirm: in the functions file, both width and height need to be changed, and in the css file only width need to be changed, correct?

Thank you! Genesis Simple Edits plugin is really easy to use. I was able to edit what shows under the post title as well as the footer. I still would like to work on a date stamp and a post title right next to it but I am scared to touch the css though. I wish there was a plugin to customize the post title along with the post date...
