Thank you Brad... I appreciate you.
immacc50ParticipantI updated my child theme with this release. Mobile issue has been resolved and now displays correctly with no excess space above the Front Page 1 area. I did lose my customizations but found this tutorial helpful ... https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-update-a-wordpress-theme-without-losing-customization/
immacc50ParticipantI am anxious to know as well... Updating a child theme requires overwriting all customizations if I'm not mistaken. That seems to defeat the purpose of the child theme.
immacc50ParticipantThank you for your response Victor... No change in private browsing (Chrome). I even launched the Samsung browser on my phone for the very first time and still no changes.
I've cleared cache in browser and cache partition on phone. I'm very concerned about how my site displays on mobile devices (50% of my traffic) but no way to check across multiple devices and browsers.
I did get it to respond in a new private tab in Firefox, which is encouraging. However, most of my traffic comes from Chrome browsers.
Any thoughts?
immacc50ParticipantThank you Victor... yes, irritating to say the least.
immacc50ParticipantCurrently I have 15 warning signs (!) and 1 red x in my stylesheet. However, the site is not broken and displays well in Chrome, Firefox and IE.
Unfortunately I am a little OCD and would like to understand why wordpress is indicating so many "erroneous" errors in the code?
I did successfully modify the stylesheet via ftp to include a partial fix to background images in front page 1, 3 and 5 that were not resizing to fit mobile devices. (I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7).
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {.front-page-1,
.front-page-2,
.front-page-3,
.front-page-4,
.front-page-5,
.front-page-6,
.front-page-7 {
padding-bottom: 10px;
padding-top: 60px;
}.front-page .content h1 {
font-size: 22px;
font-size: 2.2rem;
}.front-page .content h3 {
font-size: 20px;
font-size: 2.0rem;
}.front-page .content h5 {
font-size: 16px;
font-size: 1.6rem;
}}

immacc50ParticipantThank you. Theme is Infinity pro. Is there a sample code for commenting out the line loading the stylesheet functions.php?
immacc50ParticipantThank you for the response... The code I referenced above did not work, however, I have since moved to the Infinity Pro Theme which seems more responsive to images on the home page. Additionally, I moved to SSL and had the site speed addressed by wpfaster.org
My site speed is currently at 99 mobile and 95 desktop. Great theme by the way.
