Bart van MaanenParticipant
No tips yet, that's a shame.
Still searching for a solution here. I noticed different themes using different HTML5 Reset code (normalize.css) with different MIT Licenses. Could that help out with this issue?
October 6, 2015 at 10:40 am in reply to: How to hide specific portfolio pages in Executive Pro #167551Bart van MaanenParticipantNo, I'm sorry if my explanation is unclear.
I just want to exclude certain portfolio-type posts from the publicly visible /portfolio/ page, and show those in the members only section of the website. Simular to the public portfolio page.
Hence my question about conditional code, something with 'exclude' by portfolio-type? Or is it best to duplicate and rename the portfolio CPT files and add them to the theme and functions.php as a new page template?
Does this help explain it?
October 6, 2015 at 8:12 am in reply to: How to hide specific portfolio pages in Executive Pro #167546Bart van MaanenParticipantYes, I do mean the archive page thumbnail, added as a featured image.
Bart van MaanenParticipantThanks Morten, but it has to do with the translation of the plugin itself. I contacted StudioPress/Copyblogger Media and they had discovered 'an issue that coud cause files to load incorrectly'. They have send me a copy with a fix, so I'm fine now.
Bart van MaanenParticipantGreat Davinder, that works!
I also kopied and changed the (2n) part, so now it looks like this:
.post-type-archive-expositie .entry:nth-of-type(2n) { float: right; padding-left: 30px; } .post-type-archive-expositie .entry:nth-of-type(2n+1) { clear: left; padding-right: 30px; } .post-type-archive-expositie .entry { float: left; margin-bottom: 60px; width: 50%; }
Bart van MaanenParticipantI'm sorry the site is not live yet.
Which class could it be?
div.entry.content is set to 1140px, and div.portfolio-image (used by both pages) is also set to 1140 on both odd and even (not to 50%).
The image size set in functions.php is correct (540x340). See this screenshot:

September 7, 2015 at 11:15 am in reply to: Create 2 portfolio archive pages with Minimum Pro #164841Bart van MaanenParticipantHi Davinder, I copied and adapted and uploaded above files. I also registerd the post type 'exposities' (Dutch) so it shows up in the backend menu, with its own icon. Pretty cool. After saving the permalinks the page showed on the frontend.
But now all portfolio cover photos on the archive pages show in one column, instead of two. I tried adding the .post-type-archive-expositie tag to the css in the entry section but to no improvement.
.post-type-archive-portfolio .post-type-archive-expositie .entry { float: left; margin-bottom: 60px; width: 50%; } .post-type-archive-portfolio .post-type-archive-expositie .entry:nth-of-type(2n) { float: right; padding-left: 30px; } .post-type-archive-portfolio .post-type-archive-expositie .entry:nth-of-type(2n+1) { clear: left; padding-right: 30px; }
Do you have any clue? Or anyone else of the members of this great forum?
Thanks!September 4, 2015 at 10:19 am in reply to: Create 2 portfolio archive pages with Minimum Pro #164586Bart van MaanenParticipantThanks Davinder, so you mean make a duplicate of archive-portfolio.php and single-portfolio.php and renaming those to something like expo-archive-portfolio.php and expo-single-portfolio.php?
Or as in archive-expo.php and single-expo.php
As well as replacing the _portfolio_ slugs in those files?
Bart van MaanenParticipantTried something different now. I saw one of the page titles was pretty long and I shortened it. Now the pagination shows up correctly. Still, page titles are not supposed to influence the page navigation. What do you think?
Bart van MaanenParticipantAllright, I see it. Now I've changed it to '9' posts, which works. Yet the page navigation still shows up after 6 pages.
Bart van MaanenParticipantHi Jeffrey,
I already tried this, but alas. This also seems to me the settings for posts, not for a CPT like the portfolio pages.
Nevertheless, thanks for your response!Bart van MaanenParticipantThanks @genwrock, that's already much better. But I would like yo have the site-title centered (like in the recent theme Remobile) and preferably in bigger font. Even if that means the header widget area has to go.
Bart van MaanenParticipantHi Susan,
It's not resolved yet. If I drag the browser screen to smaller size it seems to work, but not if I try the StudioPress responsive test page.Furthermore, the client wants to have the name centered, so probably I'll have to unregister the header sidebar?
Thanks for checking.
Bart van MaanenParticipant@ SkintDad: I think it's called somewhat different in the Metro Pro theme. Look for this section:
//* Hooks after-entry widget area to single posts add_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'metro_after_post' ); function metro_after_post() { if ( ! is_singular( 'post' ) ) return; genesis_widget_area( 'after-entry', array( 'before' => '<div class="after-entry widget-area"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div>', ) ); }
Bart van MaanenParticipant@ SkintDad See above thread.

Bart van MaanenParticipantThanks Savvyjackie, That fix worked for Sixteen Nine (after clearing cache too).
Bart van MaanenParticipantI tried to add a pricing table like in the home widget to a page too. And found the same issue as RobG. Did you solve it already?
Bart van MaanenParticipantI had to comment out the following, and then it worked;
add_filter( 'prepend_attachment', 'custom_prepend_attachment' ); // * Callback for WordPress 'prepend_attachment' filter. // * // * Change the attachment page image size to 'full' // * // * @package WordPress // * @category Attachment // * @see wp-includes/post-template.php // * // * @param string $attachment_content the attachment html // * @return string $attachment_content the attachment html function custom_prepend_attachment( $attachment_content ){ // set the attachment image size to 'full' $attachment_content = sprintf( '<p>%s</p>', wp_get_attachment_link(0, 'full', false) ); // return the attachment content return $attachment_content; }
Is that okay?
Can I also add some code here to prevent the image to link any further. See: http://www.thomaselshuis.nl/wpsite/portfolio/travelogue/attachment/gr-twilight-horizon/Thanks!
Bart van MaanenParticipantThis looks like the fix I'm looking for. However, I pasted into the bottom of functions.php of the Minimum Pro theme and it disabled the whole file. Do I need to create a seperate attachment.php file to add to the Child Theme?
Or is it something with the //* -tags
I'm trying to use it in conjuction withe these styling options for the attachment pages:
//* Customize the post info function add_filter( 'genesis_post_info', 'sp_post_info_filter' ); function sp_post_info_filter($post_info) { if ( !is_attachment() ) { $post_info = '[post_date] by [post_author_posts_link] [post_comments] [post_edit]'; return $post_info; }} //* Customize the post meta function add_filter( 'genesis_post_meta', 'sp_post_meta_filter' ); function sp_post_meta_filter($post_meta) { if ( !is_attachment() ) { $post_meta = '[post_categories before="Filed Under: "] [post_tags before="Tagged: "]'; return $post_meta; }}
Bart van MaanenParticipantSince you mentioned the Gallery Caroussel, Brad. Will the images rendered behave responsive in the Minimum Pro theme?
