I solved this very easily but putting a header image for each post at the very top of the post. I think the theme picks the first image attached to the post, and use that as a thumbnail-image.

Image size I have used is 600px ?— 200px, and it's working great. Looks good!

That was all - no featured image or anything.

As long as ALL the images are 600 by 200 they will align up nicely.

    Hope it helps 🙂

Don't know if you can see my previous post, I made it private - thinking it was only for the ones in this thread?
I didn't want to share the url for everyone.

    Thank you!
I forgot to mention that I use the "featured image" on all of my posts. So in Decor-theme, it looks like this:
    http://demo.studiopress.com/decor/threaded-comments/

I would like to show the breadcrumbs just above the image, without breaking the site-design.

I tried several of the hooks you showed me (thank you, didn't know about that guide) - but none of them worked.

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much for your efforts.
All I can say, is that it does not work to put it in the functions.php :p

I don't think that is the answer I'm looking for(?) 🙂

My author box is there already, but if the user hasn't put anything in the bio-field, I would like to write something like: "You haven't written anything about yourself. You can do that here: LINK."

Which file would I need to be looking at?

Thank you 🙂 Learning by doing is the best way - although help from others are necessary sometimes.

    This helped a lot!

Wow 🙂 Very nice, it actually worked 😀

Thank you, and thanks for beeing nice!

Can I ask why I need to put the $current_user as a global?

Is it because it need to "found" outside of my function. So if a variabel is used only to hold information within a function, it doesn't need the global?

    scoe: PERFECT 🙂

Yes, StudioPress have great support, one of the best!

But thank you for giving such a quick reply! This worked so good, I should buy you a cup of coffee 🙂

I changed the search to margin-top: 60px; though.
I think that was more correct for my site 🙂

Anyone found a solution to this problem?

I can see that it seems to fixed on the decor-demo, but on my page, I experience the same problem described in this thread.

Thank you scoe for addressing the problem so accurately!

Ok - I don't quite understand how I am supposed to do this, but I'll give it a try.. Would I need to change the width for the content-div?

Another thing, if you have the time:
Is it possible to have the alternative sidebar (the small one) before the content (In the source-code)? I believe this would be more seo-friendly for the site I have, as all my content is linked to from this sidebar.

It would also be logical for my site regarding the responsive design, so that the alternative sidebar wasn't the last thing to see.

I'm just curious to why you want to remove the responsive theme?

Is there something I haven't thought about?

Thank you - Is that the same solution which has been used here, on the demo for Decor: http://demo.studiopress.com/decor/201fw ?

I don't quite understand how I can be able to place the 404-information, which you see on the demo-theme, as a widget?

I really appreciate your help on this 🙂

    Thank you!

As for the 404 page, I guess you could go to http://www.testnett.com/bv2013/whatever 🙂
By the way - I've have manually removed the "authors" from the 404-page, via the functions file. (The problem occured before I changed it, so it's not because of that)

Just in case you wondered, if you noticed the authors missing from the 404

    Sorry.

    Link: http://www.testnett.com/bv2013

Please also have a look at the missing background in the footer at the homepage only.

    Thank you!

I am also having the exact same problem.

It looks good on all other pages but the home-page.
