Funky GrafixParticipant
All,
I noticed the same with Parallax Pro and am confused because, it does not work on either of my Android or I-pad devices.
However, this BBC news story, which has several parallax events, works just fine across all of my devices and is not even in the slightest bit jerky on the Android. Is there anyone here who could explain why this is so please?

The domain in question is a couple of years old, is a holding page and isn't built with WordPress or the theme you mentioned
Something doesn't add up with your copied message from Julia either....
Could a Mod check it out?

The framework you have installed as mentioned previously is not identifiable to you in any way. You downloaded it off a server at Studiopress, like anybody else with a licence. By transferring the site to a third party, you only transfer the software at the current revision level. There has to be a licence in place to update to another revision and if the new owner does not have this, they won't receive future upgrades.
Any help?

Assuming the former there should not be any Genesis license code on the back-end to consider. You would have simply downloaded the Genesis framework and theme from Studiopress and installed into WordPress
The software is generic and not identifiable as licensed to you..

To keep control of the site after a handover, you could create a new user for this person(s) and limit their role to "Editor" or less, rather than an "Administrator"
Only an administrator has access to the themes and plug-insFG
February 4, 2017 at 5:14 am in reply to: Mimicing this site in studiopress how should I start? #200549Funky GrafixParticipantThis site is made with Divi and has an SEO audit tool from http://mysiteauditor.com/ embedded into it.
To reproduce this site with Genesis is easily possible and wouldn't cost more than a few hundred dollars / pounds (We're British) but to mimic it perfectly, just grab yourself a copy of Divi

Your message confirms the following
1. Victor is correct when he stated that nobody other than forum moderators and admin get to see messages marked as private. (Praise to Victor)
2. Susan is incorrect after stating "your reply is only visible to the person who originally started the thread, yourself, and moderators". (No praise to Susan)So - topdotter, do you still require some help? If so, get in touch - [email protected]

Why then are you suggesting it is "uncool" to mark the message as private", given my wish to respect privacy? On this basis, I don't really understand the purpose of your message. But thank you for explaining that private replies "are indeed" visible to the person who initiated the thread, not just the moderators and admins, which conflicts with the information in Victor's message?

It goes against logic though, have a "reply" button, but when set to private, it doesn't reach the intended. I imagine many have been caught out?

The database is likely to have changed a lot since the attempted project along with possibly the style sheet. The best way to revert is by restoring from a known good back-up. Where you mention a while ago, can you remember exactly how long ago this is?
If less than 31 days ago, you may be able to restore your original site via the website host (if the rolling back-up facility is enabled)
Otherwise, you might be able to use the WordPress history, which gives you the option of restoring pages individually.
You might also want to investigate any manual back-ups that have been made on your server and stored within Cpanel (If you have it)I'm sure others here may have more advice for you, but in all honesty, without a decent back-up to restore from, you're in trouble.

November 6, 2016 at 4:54 pm in reply to: Outreach Pro – genesis simple hooks causes responsive slider to crash #195809Funky GrafixParticipantHello Jamie,
You could use the Genesis extender plug-in to unhook the function. This is a premium product though, so you might want to try this freebie https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/blox-lite/ or perhaps ask support for help.
Sorry I can't help out anymore than this as I'm a newcomer myself and still finding my feet, but hey, I don't expect you to buy me a cup of coffee either
If you find out the nature of the problem, be sure to write back though please, as I'm curious what could cause this
FG
Funky GrafixParticipantThank you for that Christoph
Funky GrafixParticipantHi,
For a total non programming solution, you could try one of the various and free page builder plug-ins
In no particular order
Beaver Builder
SiteOrigin
ConductorTo force a page into full width, you might also require the Genesis Dambuster plug-in
I'm a newcomer to Genesis, so there may be other solutions that are better, but I'm quite sure any or all of the above would help you out
