Awesome! It worked like a charm. I matched the height to the new header height I'd set in my tweaking of the CSS and functions.php file.

This may be a piece of code the ninja's at Studiopress may way to include in future versions. I know I'll use it moving forward.

Please disregard the dev site listed. I need to move on and have adjusted the responsive design accordingly.

I am still curious how to remove ALL responsive layout elements for future development. When I removed it from this site the content was cut off on iPad.
