    Thanks Brad, I appreciate the responses. As mentioned above, I don't want to modify anything in the PHP code. I don't really know what I'm doing in there.

    I'm going to try to install the Code Snippets plugin and see if I can figure out how to hide the date/comment count using that. Hopefully that will work.

    I also tried removing some of the following via this path:

    Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Singular Content

    [post_date] by [post_author_posts_link] [post_comments] [post_edit]

    removing them from Entry Meta (above content) does not do anything either.

    Thanks, I tried that, but it didn't change anything.
