MemberThank you so much, Brad! That didn't get it above the sharing icons, but I was able to use that code to customize what it says, then style that div in the CSS. I think it stands out more now!

MemberThank you, Kimberly. Apparently my brain is fried, cause I did it and I got thumbnails, but all left aligned and with comment counts, post meta, etc all there and no obvious way to fix it.
Normally I'm pretty darn capable when it comes to Genesis.
Perhaps a new day will help. 🙂

MemberKimberly,
Would you mind sharing how you did this? I'm needing it for a client who has a travel site and wants a pretty grid for some of her categories. We're actually using the Executive Pro theme already but I'm unsure of how to use the template made for the custom post type for regular posts instead, and only certain categories.

MemberThank you so much! I was finally able to use the landing page template instead of full width! The ladning page was showing the signup form without the header and looked horrible. Now we have a nice landing page. 🙂

MemberHa. This is going to sound really silly... The client has added a watermark plugin that was modifying every image uploaded. Once I turned that off I was able to upload the image then turn the plugin back on. It worked. I knew we saved the image out correctly!!

MemberYOU = AWESOME
That did it! Yay. I can't believe I'm doing all this just to create a mock-up to see if a client likes it.
This is my first time with Lifestyle Pro. It's beautiful but I'm having to learn a new theme.

MemberI wanted to test first and not change the names of any widgets...

MemberI ended up just customizing the CSS to make the widget a different size on the homepage only. It looks much better now and fixed our visual issue.

MemberThat removed it, Thank You!
Now to see if I can figure out how to add a new widget there just for the homepage...

MemberAh ha! Yes, I did decide to use the new Beta version on this site. So glad someone caught that!
I'll downgrade to the stable version till 2.0 is released.
Y'all are awesome!

MemberIs it showing up right for you? I have viewed in both Firefox and Chrome and that black area just won't span the whole width of the site. It looks really crummy for me. 🙁

MemberThe instructions for setting up this theme do not say which page layout to use as the default:
http://my.studiopress.com/setup/modern-portfolio-theme/
I've tried both content/sidebar and full width and neither works.
Like I said, I haven't changed widths or anything in the CSS so I'm confused.
