    LOL - Today I discovered that the translation already is it's way towards the standard WP handling!

    Thank you!

    "Important Update!

    Genesis Translations will soon rely on the same mechanism used to provide and update WordPress's core, plugins and themes translations files.

    You can help! Please take the time to translate this plugin which includes all the strings for the Genesis Framework. We have a tutorial available for anyone wanting to contribute translating the Genesis Framework.

    Please visit our Knowledge Base for instruction on how to help."

    I know that, but I can't be the only one, that is bothered by this stray from a perfectly good standard. And if more people join in the choir, it has a lot better chance of being heard.

    Also, if there's a perfectly good reason for the situation to be as it is, the answer will be here for all to see - now and in the future, when the next programmer gets annoyed.

    So I just sit here and hope, that some official will come by now and then... 😉

    After I had been trying almost everything, 5 minutes after I wrote this cry for help, the solution came to me! :o)

    function eid_theme_changes() {
    	$tagline = sprintf( '<p class="site-description">%s</p>', get_bloginfo( 'description' ) );
    	echo $tagline;
    }
    add_action( 'genesis_site_description', 'eid_theme_changes', 15 );

    Thanks, Lauren!

    This looks very promising, much more in my line of thought.
    I'll get back to you, wether or not it works in my setup.

    While it might solve this problem, it's not an elegant solution.

    I will have to make the change for each menu item, which introduces another place to make an error. And the customer will have to remember this option when adding new top level items to the menu.

    So thank you, but no thank you. 🙂

    I just need a way to make the menu in the top show ONLY top level items. And hiding the rest isn't an option here, as there's some SEO considerations involved as well...

    Either that or modify the theme directly.

    If you haven't made any other changes to the theme, I'd go for the a new widget. That way you can safely change or upgrade the theme later on.

    Great, just one I've been looking for!

    Not just for this particular project, but for so many others. You've been a real lifesaver, Monica - or at least a timesaver. 🙂

    Thank you!

    If you're redefining the CSS, then yes.

    This will set the font for all H's:
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 {font-family: "My Fonttype"}

    But you have make sure, that it's not defined somewhere further down the stylesheet. So you must delete any separate defined font-family for H1 or H2.
