    There is a missing } after the media 1024 section of the css sheet. Someone forgot to close the section, if you add the } to the end of that section so you close the last element and then close the section it fixes all the problems you are having in safari and on iPhone.

    You must set the default template to be the three column layout to get the sidebar to show up on the right, unfortunately this also makes it so you then have to change the template for every other page created if you don't want the sidebar to show up, kind of annoying but I guess it works.

    As for part two, it was answered by someone else at the link below.
