Thank you! That was just what I needed. So appreciated!

    Thank you! Totally helped.

Also, how can I change the color of the title on Home Widget 1 and the button color? If I'd like to make them black for instance (and only on this widget - not all the widgets...) how would I do that?

This is helpful, and as a newbie to this theme, can you help me further know where to change this and how so that I can add a full background image instead of the solid color?

"You can use an image that I believe will be shown for all three homepage widget area backgrounds. Or, if you’re okay with editing CSS, you can set an image on a per-section basis and use CSS to tell it to stretch based on viewport size. You could also remove the scripts that load the parallax effect."

    Thanks, Dave.

The paid pro version of the Ultimate plugin (which is really quite awesome) does have slideshow capabilities but based on literature, wouldn't probably not give us the same level of slideshow options/control. So we opted instead to re-create the landing page elsewhere and point the main website to that page using a temporary 302 redirect (courtesy of the straightforward 302 Moved Temporarily plugin). Not as great for SEO as the Ultimate Plugin but considering the relatively short coming-soon duration, it'll do. That other site may eventually become our testing ground once the main site gains traction, though I am looking into developing and testing site locally on computer using wamp instead.

In any case, thanks so much for your advice, Dave. You've been most helpful.

    All the best, Dennis

Thanks, Dave. Of all the plugins I've tried, "Ultimate Coming Soon Page" tops my list. But I can't seem to deploy a slideshow (created with the Slideshow plugin) that works great on my original landing page. I've posed a question to the Ultimate team and am waiting for a response. But if you have any other ideas in the meantime, let me know. Been messing with this for too long now. I've activated Coming Soon Mode so you can take a peek if and when you have a chance. Thanks again.
