Thanks!
defree99ParticipantPerfect. Thanks!
defree99ParticipantThank you so much!
Worked like a charm.
defree99ParticipantThanks!
defree99ParticipantI set it in the Genesis Theme area.
But I don't want to "hard code" this in the theme because I may need the sidebar on some pages.
Can you see any other reasons for this formatting?
defree99ParticipantPerfect.
Thanks for everything!
Last quick question:
1) I edited the fixed pixel width objects to percentages, so it renders properly across smaller devices and it looks fine.
2) But is there a way to make my wrapper an "if then" kind of wrapper?
3) So that on desktops the whole thing displays on a single line. But on smartphones/tablets, the Right Div wraps down to the line below the Left DIV?
defree99ParticipantThe menu works great, thanks!
I made the adjustments to the header, but I can't seem to get the who;e thing to float right.
I'm trying to get the social media icons to right-justify.
Can you see what I might have done wrong?
defree99ParticipantPerfect.
Thank you so much!
defree99ParticipantI added this to the Style Sheet, yet it is still the same.
Did I do something incorrectly?
defree99ParticipantThanks!
defree99ParticipantI finally figured it out. In the header right widget I had added html to change the text color to white. That's where the mystery html was pulling from. But what I didn't realize was that the default text color in that widget is already white. I don't know why, but adding the html to make the text white made all the text white on the entire site. Anyway, once I took out this change everything worked fine.
Thanks for your time and help.
defree99ParticipantMe too. All I'm doing is adding the text from the regular control panel. Not in a widget.
defree99ParticipantThanks Jamie,
I saw this as well, but when I go to the style sheet I don't see this code, so I can make this change.
Do know where I can change this?
defree99ParticipantThanks!
Regenerating thumbnails was the key.
defree99ParticipantThank You!
defree99ParticipantI found it.
I had a typo on my pixel width.
Thank you!
defree99ParticipantThanks,
But I have changed the dimension below , reducing the header widget width from 820 all the way down to 600.
But still no luck.
Any help would be TRULY appreciated.
/* Widget Area
--------------------------------------------- */.site-header .widget-area {
float: right;
width: 600px;
}defree99ParticipantThanks!
defree99ParticipantThanks!
That was it.
Just missing a closing div.
defree99ParticipantThanks so much . . .
. . . but for some reason it's still not functioning correctly.
Here is a screenshot of my Responsive Slider settings.
- I have two posts in the Slider category.
- Each one has a Featured image.
I've actually set up the Responsive Slider successfully on one or two other websites so I'm only a partial newbie.
Would you like for me to email you the login information so you can better see what's happening?
