Thank you very much for your help and setting me on the right path, have been working on this for quite a while now and am some of the way there !
.woocommerce table.shop_table td, .woocommerce table.shop_table th
{
width: 100%;
}This corrects the responsive table, but also throws out this page now http://testing.yoganook.com.au/my-account/
I can't for the life of me find something that is specific to just the responsive table.
I thought this would work, but it doesn't have any effect
.shop_table shop_table_responsive cart td, .shop_table shop_table_responsive cart th
{
width: 100%;
}Are there any more pointers you could give me for this, maybe I am missing something really obvious.
Many thanks,
MariadefinemediaMemberAny more helpful suggestions much appreciated ...
definemediaMemberThanks very much for your reply, sorry for the late response ( have been on holiday ) - that worked well for me 🙂 Maria
definemediaMemberSo it does ! thank you so much, I think I just needed a fresh pair of eyes there. It now centers ... brilliant ! Thank you Lauren.
definemediaMemberHi Victor,
Thanks for the response.
I did play around and reduce the image widget to this
.site-header .widget-area {
width: 60%;
float: left;
}and it seemed to work for thanks for pushing me in the right direction.
Many thanks,
Maria
definemediaMemberHi Victor,
Thanks for the response - I am however struggling to understand where the current_page_item is. When I check it in developer tools the menu reads as.
.genesis-nav-menu a:hover, .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a {
background-color: #fff;
color: #000;
}Where do i find the css that relates to current-menu_item ...
Apologies is this is something way too obvious !
Basically I am trying to gain control over the hover and active states in the blue menu to tweak then a little.
Many thanks,
Maria
definemediaMemberHi Tom,
That worked perfectly - and completely made sense ... I just hadn't thought that I could apply 100% to a column class. That has helped me immensely as i now know this will solve other issues too.
Thank you so much, much appreciated,
Maria
definemediaMemberWow, that was a speedy reply ... thank you so much.
I have added the the above css in to the file and by adding this ... and also
.site-header {
min-height: 84px;
}it appears to have done the trick, I can shimy the logo into position now - thanks so much for your help.
All the best,
Maria
definemediaMemberHi there,
Thank you so much for this response, that worked perfectly ... and answered a bigger question that I have had overall, now to directly target individual widgets with css.
Very very useful learn, thanks a lot.

definemediaMemberHello Dave,
That was brilliant ! Worked perfectly and something I was completely unaware of, so thank you so much for your help.

definemediaMemberOh my ... another 3 hours later and this was the solution.
.utility-bar .wrap {
max-width: 1140px;
margin: auto;
}not
.utility-bar .wrap {
width: 1140px;
margin: auto;
}now the inner wrap is responsive - what a novice mistake.
definemediaMemberHello ... thank you both very much for the response. I have posted with Carrie to see if she can help. Will also have a look at this alternative tutorial today and see how that works. Will post when I have reached the answer ... thanks so much for the tips. Maria
definemediaMemberA very rudimentary solution I am a little embarrassed to say - I needed to click the checkbox ' Custom Functions - Affect Admin' for the widgets to show in the admin area. Carrie was great with support, I was able to ask her the question after she had turned comments back on on her post. Maria
definemediaMemberThanks very much for the feedback, that is strange isn't it if it works with Dynamik, hmmm. I will see if I can contact Carrie via her post and will repost here when I find the solution. It may well be something I am doing wrong, or possibly a conflict with the Theme. Thank you both for your support.
definemediaMemberHi Brad, thanks so much for getting back to me.
I have double checked, and added your version of the code above to my custom functions and the css to my custom css file, but hmm still still no widgets appear in Appearance > Widgets.
So, I have added it to the actual functions.php and stylesheet.css and it seems to work, wowza - nearly anyway.
Ideally I am trying to get it to run to the full width a bit like this http://www.bsg.ox.ac.uk/
At the moment it looks like this http://www.tpiver5.definemedia.co.uk/ after two days of struggling with this I finally feel I might be getting somewhere. Do you have any suggestions for how I might.
1. Make the top bar full width
2. Make the custom menu ( on the left ) run in one line instead of underneath each otherReally appreciate your help,
Maria
